These are good! Note if you have a Sam’s club credit card you can scan that as well as your membership card for two snacks 🙂
Oh sweet! Thanks for letting us know! 🙂
My location had trolli sour gummy worms yesterday 😃
YUM! 🙂
Mine had some type of Muscle Rub last week but it shows Fruit Snacks now!!
Oh cool!
Just came from there – got the gummies! Also got a packet of the Sam’s laundry detergent from a lady at a stand near the laundry aisle! Add that to the yummy food samples, and today was a good Sam’s day! 🙂
Oh cool! Glad you could score some awesome samples Amy!
They had the gummies at my Sam’s today. Used the Scan & Go ap and completely skipped the checkout again today. No lines, no wait. Highly recommend.
What’s Scan & Go? Is that in all stores?
You download the Sam’s Scan and Go ap on your phone to use in store. When you enter the store you scan the items as you put them in your shopping cart. When you’re finished shopping, hit checkout in the ap. A barcode will appear on your screen. Simply proceed to the exit and instead of showing your register receipt, you show your phone. They scan the barcode on your screen with a handheld and it produces a digital receipt they look at and you’re on your way. I’m in Georgia and they started the program here about a month ago. It works flawlessly. No more long checkout lines. Easy in, easy out.
Playing devil’s advocate, Susie. The only reason I know of this is because I saw it being done. I bought a couch throw and the cashier put her hands on the inside of it. I could not believe when I questioned her about why she was doing that, and she said that people put CD’s and the like in there to steal them. Unreal the lengths people will go to. But how is Sam’s going to prevent that sort of theft with the Sam’s Scan and Go, unless they see what you’ve bought and maybe not a see a need to search your purchases. It sounds like a good process. I just hope that the 10% don’t ruin it for the other 90%!
Lisa, you’re not telling me anything I don’t already know. I am a retired store manager with a large retail chain. I’ve saw it all. Your response was my first thought too. They actually cover theft in the FAQ’s of the Scan & Go ap. The real difference is a digital receipt instead of a paper receipt. They still have the option of putting their hands in your throw at the door. I’ll take a couple of extra seconds at the door instead of a 30 minute checkout line anytime. Try it, I’m sure you’ll agree!
Oh, I so feel for you, Susie. I think if I had to do the job of a store manager….More than a few feel’ns would be hurt! 🙂 I hear ya though. I was elated when Sam’s came out with their self checkouts!
YAH I LOVE this!!!!
😀
Thanks Collin can’t wait to snack on them!!!
You’re welcome Jenny!
