Got this the last time about a month ago. Works great and really does help me move more when I see that red bar. Love that it doesn’t need to be charge and it’s waterproof!
Thanks for the feedback Nikki! Happy to hear you are enjoying it!
Is it also a watch?
It has the basic functions of a digital watch (time/date). You just switch through the modes.
Does anyone know if this one does sleep monitoring like I’ve heard the other big brand does?
It does say it monitors sleep in the description. I have the FITBIT & I do wish it was waterproof like the Garmin. So, I take it off to not get it wet & have forgotten it a few times on my walks. My sister got the Garmin & loves it.
Yes it does. There is a sleep mode and I often forget to switch it but it still tracks it once I sync it with the app.
Got this in Prime day for $39 shipped. i have been using it for a week. i love that I NEVER have to take it off to charge or swim/shower.
Sweet! Thanks for sharing Amy!
Do it track pace when running?
No. It only tracks the steps/miles.
I’ve been contemplating on getting one of these for quite sometime. I’ve researched some reviews on Amazon and I saw a lot of issues with the band detaching because it was made poorly. Can someone share their experience with this band?
I have had mine for over a year and have only taken it off a couple of times. It has a little band that goes around the connection to keep it from disconnecting. I have never had a problem. I think most of those bad reviews were before garmin began using the little band. Going on a year and a half and have not had to change the battery once and have snorkeled with it, shower daily with it, and sync it to my phone daily. Love it and recommend it to anyone!
The band with the newer ones have a little loop (sort of like a regular watch, where you place the strap) and it doesn’t come off. But I have also bought additional straps from amazon that are just like a watch.
