Target shoppers! Do not miss the opportunity to stock up your gift closet with lots of cheap toys and games – up to 70% off or more!

If you have a few minutes the next time you visit your local store, I strongly encourage you to visit the toy section as you may find some amazing bargains. Note that some Target stores have a designated toy clearance section whereas other stores have toy clearance scattered throughout the entire toy section. AND, remember that some items may not be marked on clearance so be sure to use the price scanner.

Here are just a few of the clearance deals I spotted…

Bratz Deluxe Fashion Pack Only $3.88 (reg. $12.99)

I stocked up on some toys for my “gift closet” and have had no one to give gifts to, lol!

    • Caryn

Lol good thing is you are prepared 👍

    • Lisa

I put items in my gift bin and then if Christmas comes around I’ll give some to toys for tots or whatever collection.

      • Tobey

I do the same thing. I donate what is left in my gift closet to a charity for Xmas. If feels good to save so much and still be able donate so many toys and clothes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Lol! At least you will be prepared when the time comes! 😉

Anyone have dcpi number for the leap reader book set?

  3. momof3

My store has been completly sold out of summer clearence for the past week and toys are only at 25% clearence. Intersting how the stores dont all have to have the same sale.

    • Gretchen

Right! We have 2 Targets in our town and they have wildly different prices and sales!

  4. Felicia

I got three different girls nerf guns for $5.98.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great score!

  5. Kimmy

I would stock up but problem is kids change their interests in toys, hobbies, and/or characters by the tmw christmas comes around. But they’re awesome deals. Great idea for charities.

    • CJ

Kimmy, my kids used to be like that also, but oddly enough, when we cut cable (we use Netflix) they stopped wanting everything new under the sun come December. Couldn’t figure it out until I realized it’s the absence of those dang commercials!!! So not only did we save money on our cable bill but we saved money because our tv no longer convinced my kids of the stupid things they couldn’t live without!!! 😉

      • Kimmy

We too cut cable. But I was referring to my kids’ private preschool/daycare kiddos (really small group). I don’t really buy toys for my nieces/nephews. But like I say, interests changed.

    • MommySpendsLess

Kimmy -I’ve had the same problem with my daughter. We get cable as part of the HOA package but we exclusively watch Netflix and my daughter still switches characters/interests pretty quickly. I think it depends on what kids she’s around – an afternoon of trading Pokemon cards with her boy cousins vs. playing Monster High with classmates on the playground vs. chatting about Shopkins with a friend on the bus…
I’ve been burned almost every time I’ve bought something character in advance. Stuffed animals, holiday themed items (like eggs and bunnies for Easter) and games still seem to be okay to buy ahead though.

I agree on cutting out commercials. Its funny my kids ask to watch the commercials at Nana’s house cause our TV doesnt “show the toystore channel” lmao!! They dont even know whats at the movies until it hits Netflix or redbox.

  7. Michelle

The Girl Scouts Easy Bake Oven was on clearance for $12.50, and my store had at least 25 on the shelf. I picked up three – two for gifts and one for my sons and me to enjoy!

    • Sally

Wow, Michelle!!! I bought it here in Indiana for $20 & thought that was an awesome deal!!! 🙂 Way to go!!!

    • sla1981

I had gotten one too. My store only had 3 left.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh wow! Such a great find! Thanks for sharing!

  8. Melissa

I got some awesome Lego deals. But check prices before buying. Some things on clearance at target were same price on Walmart.com and about half the price on Amazon!

    • Kristi

Melissa, what Lego deals did you get? Any Lego Duplo?
I’d love to get some Lego Duplo’s on clearance for 50% off. But at my Targets, they seem to be all bought up before 50% off 🙁

      • Mackenzie

Id like to know too 🙂

  9. Linda

Make sure you price check with Target.com, because I see that a lot of the toys are cheaper on the website!!
