I love rolling over my target gift cards with deals like this! I rec’d a $5.00 gc from previous post (Lysol wipes), used it to pay on this transaction paid $13.67 and will be receiving another $10 target gc. I also went through ebates, 2% back. Clarification needed–must buy online to get two $5 gcs?
They would not honor the deal even though I pulled up the app and showed the double card. Manager said it was “double dipping”… What do you do in that situation?
yep i ran into the same thing. my online for store pick up order was cancelled 20 minutes after i got a “your order is ready for pick up” email. called the store and they had me call target.com. neither the store NOR target.com will honor the extra gc, even though i had my order already processed for pickup. so i just said nevermind. irritating.
They just make stuff up as they go to get you off the phone or out of their store. Double dipping implies you’re trying to scam the system somehow, which of course you’re not. They posted the deal, not you.
Are the orders that are to be shipped being cancelled also? I have not seen anything updated on my order yet.
