I had my house exterior painted last year, used super paint for the siding and the mid grade for the trim, it looks amazing and has held up really well, cleans easily. I bought it during this sale and it saved me hundreds!! Totally recommend.

I am a professional painter and we only use SW paints, unless client requests ben moore. If u r not sure what color u want the paint but want to take advantage of the sale, you can buy the paint as plain white now and bring it back later to have tinted. Same for primer, it can be tinted too! Best if u know you will need 2 coats. Paint the tinted primer first then tinted paint, especially on new drywall. It is cheaper this way too.

Love this paint. My husband and I recently had new siding put up on our house and garage and used Sherwin Williams paint for all of the siding and trim work. We were SO HAPPY with the paint!!! It is a bit pricy, but for a good reason. I can’t express the great quality of this paint, except to say that you won’t be disappointed if you buy this. Good luck painting everyone!!!

(Thanks, Charity!)

Is this the best sale Sherwin Williams has? We are remodeling it will be a while before we are ready to paint. Just wondering if there is a better annual sale??

Biggest discount I have seen is 40%..

Home Depot has the best deal on paint. Glidden ultra Hide is what our painter uses and it is only about $20 a gallon for the best of that line. You can hardly beat that price for the quality paint. Labor Day weekend they will typically have rebates, too. Memorial Day weekend had a $10 rebate per gallon. They can match ANY color chip from any brand. We paid way too much for paint for so many years.

When you do buy to stock-up, buy white paint. Then you can have it tinted later when you are ready to paint. Another way to save is to use latex primer on the first coat, much cheaper than super paint. This can be tinted the same as the paint color you’re using. Hope all goes well with your reno!

They had 40% off just recently & I purchased 2 gallons of the $68/gal “top line” Emerald interior paint, which still was $40/gal with discount, recommended by sales gal. WORST.PAINT.EVER. I have painted every room in my house with all different paint brands & I have never come across a paint as bad as this. I wish I would’ve Googled it before buying because there were over 40 bad reviews of that paint but I’ve used other SW paints before & didn’t think I had to check reviews.

Please call your store so they can rectify the problem. We are professional painters and use SW all the time. Recently, we noticed the paint hasn’t been as good. We returned the paint to complain. It turns out it was taken out of the paint shaker too early. And all is fine afterwards. They should make things right for you with a refund or exchange since they have banners at the store saying they stand by their products. If it still goes south, you can talk to the rep. I really do hope you have a better experience next time.

We love SW. Price is on the high side but it’s worth it.

      Thanks for the feedback Diana!

SW and Benjamin Moore are the best quality paint, in general. My husband used to paint professionally & that’s all he’ll buy. Glidden is like colored water in comparison…

Oh wow! Thanks for the helpful review!

Is the HGTV Sherwin Williams paint good for kitchen cabinets?
