Anybody ordered from this company before? I am headed to the eye doctor today, and am fairly certain I need glasses for the first time in my life….
I have. Just got my order on Saturday from the last time Collin posted this deal. Nice glasses, nice quality. Did take 2-3 weeks to get them. The hardest part was deciding which frames to get. Too many to choose from. Even though we have insurance, this was way less than getting them from my doctor. Only paid $22.
Yes I have Lisa’ takes about 3 woks to get them after you place your order.Rating B+
3 weeks
Can anyone please tell me how exactly this works? I have an appointment this week with the eye doctor. Do I get the exam and just ask for a prescription for the glasses? Or do y’all use these as an extra pair?
Thank you!!
KimfromNH – Yes. Ask your eye dr for a copy of your prescription. The GlassesUSA website gives instructions on how to read and enter your prescription online.
Yes, just ask for your script, but most doctors give it to you without asking.
Yes you ask for the prescription from the doctor. Make sure it includes your pupillary distance (PD). Something mine didn’t have that I needed to call to get after the fact. I just ordered from them last week and my glasses are already in production. I was happy that I was able to get anti-glare lenses and frames for less than what just lenses cost at my eye doc.
They have a nice feature where you can use your photo to approximate what the frames will look like on you, but pay close attention to the measurements on your glasses too. Knowing whether or not a pair of frames will look HUGE or TINY on your head or fit well is kind of a big deal.
I’m nervous, but really hoping I like what I ordered – they do have a satisfaction guarantee.
Says code is not valid. 🙁
If you select Premium frames it won’t work.
Be sure to select Basic Single Vision or Reading glasses. Hope this helps!
Zenni has way cheaper than $22 glasses. Theirs start at like $13.
Mine weren’t premium. They were only $38 and it says not valid. :/
Hmm, did you by chance have a prescription with SPH over +3 or below -3? They would require an additional charge.
No, it was 1.75. Maybe it doesn’t apply to item s on sale?
It doesn’t apply to frames that are already marked down.
Code didn’t work for me.
