I just called Staples as my son in college could use a desk chair, customer service said that it was an error on their part and those orders will be cancelled.
Per Customer Service this price was a key coding error. They have fixed it and the price is now $59.99. All orders at the $9.99 price will be canceled.
Glad I was at the door when they opened – and before they could finish my order for online pickup! Score!! This make up for not getting the TP at Staples last week! H2S your rock!

The price listed $9.99 when viewing the product but when I added it to my cart the price changes to $59.99. I tried checking out but the price stayed at $59.99.

No they fixed a glitch in the system – if you look at Staples homepage it advertises chairs for 50% off – so $59.99 is correct.

I purchased this chair 2 years ago from a deal posted here. It has held up well and I believe I paid 40 for it then. The chair is comfy and the only con I have is the arms are not adjustable. Just thought I would share a review of the chair.

I just picked mine up and started putting it together. However , to my surprise, they gave me 2 left arm rest! Please double check your chairs to see if this is the case! It could have been just mine, but I didn’t look opened or tampered with anyway! So maybe somewhere out there , there is one with 2 right arm rest? I’m calling them monday to see if they can do an exchange or reorder the part for the right arm rest for me. I was so excited for the deal but very about why it had 2 left arm rest. Anyone else built their chair and encounter this same issue?

Made my purchase at 6am and I got an email at 12:30pm saying my purchase will be cancelled because the item is not available. Called customer service and they told me chair was priced wrong and they can’t honor that price for similar item. How disappointing!
