I did it (mine expired at the beginning of July)! I got the $20 gift card but nothing else. After 24 hours it still hadn’t upgraded me so I emailed CS and they upgraded it for me! Kinda bummed about the coupons but hey, I got a Sam’s plus membership for $25 overall.
To be considered a new customer your membership needs to have expired 6 months or more ago. Hth
Mine expires in a week so we just got this deal under my husbands name. They even gave me a secondary card. Got all the coupons and everything.

The easiest way is to download the Sam’s Club ap, set up your account through it, stay logged in and you can see all the digital “coupon” offers by clicking on “instant savings” on the home screen.

Has anyone tried this with the American Express offer of $45 back on a $45 membership?
Hi Allyson, I did it with the Amex deal last weekend, got all the freebies, I actually had to call in to Sams about the $20 GC, but they emailed it to me. I know the statement credit should take a few weeks, but I’m sure it will work. If I don’t get it in 2 months, I’ll just call customer service. Hope this helps!
