I can’t comment about this specific product but I can comment on their customer service which is second to none! They have replaced my fitbit (different model) twice with no fight. Originally the band had separated which is covered under the warranty, they replaced it and the new one had a defective battery which they could easily verify and sent me a new one. They have been great!
I seconds their customer service. Mine had a issue where it separated where it plugged in. Replaced it no problem and let me pick a new color if I wanted. Had no issues with my new one.
They have replaced my tracker 4 times in 14 months with zero trouble. The bands keep separating from the tracker in the very humid Texas climate.
Trying to decide on this or the Apple Watch. Anyone like one better then the other? Opinions?
New Apple Watch may be coming out next month… Personally, I’m waiting 🙂
The apple watch will be unveiled next week – while this product probably wont be available until the end of September – i would lock in this price if you were debating. The typical price point is 150.00
I’m also deciding between this or AppleWatch. I know the fitbit charge2 will retail for $150 when it comes out, so this seems like a great deal.
It depends on what functions you want. I love my fitbit as it tracks all my activities. Hubby has the Apple watch because he wanted his calls/texts to come through.

I love my fitbit charge HR! The best feature, IMHO, is keeping track of your heart rate during exercise and then seeing the ups and downs of the data readout. I have had to replace my fitbit several times over the last couple of years due to manufacturing and wear and tear problems, but, luckily, fitbit has THE BEST customer service. You just IM, call, or email them and they send you a new one, which I have received within a few days.

Thank you Colin. I have been watching the reviews on this one for quite some time now which are all super awesome positive. If any of the users on here are interested in reading these just Google Fitbit charge to and essentially it is a combination of the charge HR and the regular charge with better benefits and if you have sensitive skin it’s actually good for that as well. I just wanted to say thank you I’ve been after this for quite some time now retail value is $150. Right now the charge HR is going for the exact same price online if you go through Walmart’s about a $118 I think. So thank you so much……

This will most certainly be better than the original charge HR.. I’ve been using since it came out, not as accurate as it should be.
My only concern with this one over the hr would be that the screen is so much larger on this and more prone to chipping/breaking. I have had an hr for a long time now and it always manages to get beat up so I can only imagine how this one would fair.

my daughter has had one for a long time and loves it – she tracked herself when moving me into my new apt. and it was 8.5 miles she walked just moving me from one apt. and into the new one. She loves her and i want one too – I am a Senior and my doctors say after my hernia surgery in two weeks – and recovery – I should exercise more. I will get one soon.

would this work well for spinning? I hate that I bike 10 miles but it shows no “steps” on my progress.

While I did love my Fitbit and their customer service was great, I had to replace the whole thing or parts 3 times. All were under warranty and free, but I was getting frustrated at things breaking so frequently and after just a short time with it. I ended up getting an Apple Watch and I’m very happy. Probably not as good of a fitness tracker, but it has a lot more features so I feel it’s a great overall smart watch.
