Thank you for the reminder! This is an amazing deal. We ordered the pumpkin cheesecake both times and it’s my absolute favorite!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! You’re so welcome Karen! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

  2. Karie

You were able to get the buy one take one home? I thought it was when you ate in.

    • Fun

It is to go in most areas also

I was able to order the buy 1 take 1 deal online to be picked up, a couple weeks ago when they had the additional coupon too. I had no problems, and ordered 3 of them so I got 6 meals and 3 salads plus 6 breadsticks. I asked at the time they were packing it up if I could possibly have a few extra breadsticks and they did it no problem. Fed my family of 7 with LOTS of leftovers.

Dine in only in the Toledo Ohio area. 😕

    • April

Mentor OH location did it with no problem! Can’t beat it! Plus, it’s carry out so you don’t have to tip! So much better than spending $30+ on pizza! Wish I would have know about this earlier!

The carry out person in the store also relies on tips. They make slightly more than the servers on the floor because they do generally get less in tips by half but they DO work on tips. Generally instead of 20% the standard is10%. They take the orders, fill them, package by themselves and assure it’s on time for pickup. They do more than hand the bag out the window I assure you. Ten+ years ago when I served at a steakhouse I would watch them bust their butts.Just a thought….

instead of the kids meal of pumpkin cheesecake i got the 3 dolchinis instead

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yummy!

  5. MIlly

Hi! I am doing the deal now. Question what are the two covered bowl? are they different than the entrees? Just trying to figure what to order, I think on the video you mentioned it was frozen meals? just wondering how I order them. Thanks!

  6. Mom Of 2

Kids meals at my Olive Garden include beverage, entree, side, 2 breadsticks, and soup or salad! Such a great deal!

  7. Casey

When I add two of the entrees, it doesn’t reduce the price.. my location must be eat in only.

    • pandoraaddict

If you’re doing the take home meal, don’t add two entrées. On the left side of page, for menu catagories, use the take one offer link – the dish’s second entrée will be on the same page as a drop down box.

      • Casey

Many thanks! I was able to find it under “specials.” $26.98 after coupon and BOGO AND I had a $25 giftcard!

Just another follow up from a perspective of someone who has worked In a restaurant for 15+ years. The Togo person is making the same hourly as a server. In MO $3.85 an hour. Of which the entirety of their check is taken in taxes so they are receiving a $0 paycheck. They are 100% relying on tips for the work they do. Tipping should not be the same as for in house dining and should be representative of the service you receive, but to say that because it is Togo you don’t have to tip is simply misinformed. The Togo server is doing a lot of work to ensure your order is ready. Plan accordingly.

    • Cindy

Not sure if that is the case everywhere. We own a restaurant and the people that handle takeout for us earn between $11-15/hour. They of course appreciate tips but by no means is it expected. If they are receiving the tipped rate of 3.85 in your area they have to be earning at least minimum wage when their tips are factored in otherwise their employer is not paying them correctly.

    • miniminhmo

This is eye-opening news for me. Thanks for posting this, Jenn. I’ll definitely consider the amount of tip I give the next time I order To-Go.

  9. Kara

Can the $5 off promo code be used more than once? And is there an expiration on the $5 off code?

  10. Sara like

What a great deal! I feed my family dinner and then lunch the next day!

  11. Helen

They told me I couldn’t use the coupon with the buy one get one offer….
