Mine is a few years old and I love it. Not having to plug it in while using it and being able to take it anywhere because it’s so light are big pluses.

Thanks for the great feedback on how easy this is to use! Good to know!

We own this also and really love it. No cord, lightweight. The only issue I have is that the battery only holds a charge for about 15 minutes of vaccuming but I just split up my house and only do one level a day. It works so well the cup gets filled quickly.

Mine wasn’t really hold a charge that well either and I was splitting up vacuuming the levels of my house too then my husband was like try emptying the cup and then I hit the switch a few times it started working again. Now I can actually vacuum my whole house with it in 1 shot.

Thanks for the honest review Monica!

Any one care to share their experience with how this works on pet hair? I have a shepard mix that sheds constantly and I need to vaccuum the hair up almost daily. I need something that picks up the pet hair well & holds up. TIA!

I have an australian shepherd, 2 german shepherds, and 2 persian cats that leave a ton of hair on the hardwood floors. This vacuum does a decent job picking up the hair for a quick clean up. But overall if I really want the floors clean I use my Eureka mighty mite (a lot cheaper and can get from amazon). Yes, you have to plug the might might in but it is worth the trouble. I find myself going over the floors multiple times with this Dyson to get all of the hair. With the Eureka it is one time. The Dyson also does not pick up bigger items, the Eureka does. I have used the Eureka at least once a day for a few years and it still works great. Nothing compares after trying many vacuums. The Dyson also does not hold a charge for all of my house. But for quick messes, it is great.

How does this one compare to absolute? Heard some people complaining this model about getting hair coiled around the machine. Thanks

How is this on hair?? I have four daughters and myself all with long hair. I vacuum everyday and always have to take the vacuum apart at least once a week to remove the hair 😝

I’ve got 2 cats and a toddler and I’ve been wanting one for awhile so I don’t have to drag out the larger vacuum for just quick clean ups! Thank you for posting this!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Chris!

I love my Dyson for picking up cat hair and i vacuum daily as i have a toddler. The only negative is it doesn’t do a good job with picking up the cat litter. It kindof blows it around!
