I highly recommend these. I’m always weary of blankets from Kohls but this is great. I bought one on Black Friday 3 or 4 years ago. I use it a ton during the winter. I particularly like to use it as a buffer between me and the sheet on cold nights. It’s the perfect size for me (I’m 5’6). After a lot of use and many washes it is still soft and hasn’t fallen apart at all.

    • Becky

I agree. We have several of these. They wash up nicely and are so soft and comfy!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Glad to hear how nice it is and how well it has held up! Thanks so much for the great feedback Elaine!

    • ashley

Yes, these are the absolute best! I let mine air dry and it still feels just as soft as when I bought it last year!

  2. ashley

Anyone remember how cheap they usually get online around Black Friday?

    • Amanda

I want to say around 5 or 6 dollars.

    • patricia

I believe 8.99 on black friday because they dend me 10 dollar off coupon and i have bought these throws for gifts every year and always have to find something else to bring up the price to 10 dollars to be able to use the coupon.

    • Katie

      I’m remembering 15 to 19ish dollars

  3. Lynn

I feel like they were maybe $7-9 around BF? I can’t remember, but they’re well worth any price! We have several and love them.

    • Amber Moore

They are usually around $9, and then usually a 15% off coupon and kohls cash is $15 for every $50

  4. pirateprincessmommy

I love to give one of these with a package of microwave popcorn and a redbox code to my kids teachers for Christmas. These are seriously the best blankets EVER! This is a pretty low price for them right now. I can’t remember if they will go any lower or not.

    • ashley

      Awesome gift idea!

    • C

      That’s an awesome idea!

    • April Rose

Maybe a dumb question, but I honestly don’t know… How do you give someone a Redbox code? Thinking about my teenage nephews. (Sooo hard to buy for!) Thanks. 🙂

      • pirateprincessmommy

Well… I mostly save my kellogs points and cash them in for redbox codes. Then, I print little cards that say something like “Here is a redbox code for you” and write the code on the card. Check pinterest… I got the cards from there. I think you can also buy codes from the redbox site.

        • cbeths

I’ve bought codes from the redbox site, I think you have to buy 5 or 15 at a time. But they never expire.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a cute gift idea! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Sue

Wanted to +1 all these recommendations. My bf got me one of these last Christmas and it is by far my favorite and most used blanket and it washes and wears well. I’ll probably grab another at this price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s great to hear Sue! Thanks for the great feedback!

    • Tarri

From searching on Hip2save, I see an 8.99 price and a 8.49 price. It also looks like you could use a % off also. So it may be a little cheaper on BF but if you don’t want to stand in an hour line. I know last year I had coupons to use so I did not pay that much for my blanket at the store.

    • Wren

Thanks Jaime and Tarri for researching this!

  6. Stacy Pokrinchak

Awsome blanket I bought them on black Friday last year and gave them out as stocking stuffers to nieces and nephews and have two I keep on each couch. My son and his girlfriend love them to!!

  7. Kristin M.

These are literally the only blankets I buy I love them!! I believe the Black Friday prices are usually 8.99 so this is a pretty good deal.

  8. Lori

I just checked last year’s BF ad. They were $8.99.

  9. kim

Thanks for letting us know great blankets tough to buy online not knowing if truly soft and hold up. Great gifts 🙂

  10. Emily

The link won’t load for me… Any ideas why?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How strange as they are all still working for me. Are you by chance on a mobile device? If not, be sure to try it in a different browser. Hope this helps!

      • Emily

It worked on my laptop. Thanks!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! You’re welcome Emily! Thanks for the update!

  11. Christi+S

Yay! Thanks Collin! 2 more Christmas presents down!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! YW!

  12. Ana

Sweet, I had a $5 reward that was about to expire and I didn’t know what to use it on. I love blankets!

    • Princess

Thank you Ana because I forgot about my expiring code on 10-1. I just got 2 of them.

  13. Angel

Did lots of shopping at store today. Its associate shop days so we get a nice discount through the weekend. (with no exclusions)

  14. Sam

did not like these blanket. i am 5 7 and my bf is over 6 ft tall and these are very small -dont cover one person and thin. did not like it

    • Erica

Sam, you should buy the blankets that are larger. They also go on sale during Black Friday.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear these are a bit small for you! 🙁 Thanks for the honest feedback!

  15. Laurie

Great gift can add a $10 Monogram initial an makes it a $50 value anywhere else. Great buy!

  16. Jessica

Is there Kohl’s cash right now?

  17. Sara

Ebates has 6% cashback for Kohl’s too! I love these throws, I have two of them, my favorite are the Christmas prints though, but I’m afraid they won’t be this cheap around Christmas time.

  18. Janine

I highly recommend these!! Thank you Collin for the the heads up I ordered three!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome Janine! Awesome that you could snag them!

  19. sandy

The wine pattern would be so cute as a present with a wine bottle as a housewarming gift!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a great idea Sandy! Thanks for sharing!

  20. Whitney

Thanks for all the comments. I had $5 I was wondering what to use it on so I purchased the light blue throw. For less than $5, you can’t beat that!

    • ViMou

@Whitney, I saw the light blue one in the store yesterday. It’s a really pretty color!
I ordered 5 of the Geo (chevron pattern) and will have a large letter monogram in the corner for the teens on my list. Paid for with Kohls cash. Score! LOL

  21. Jill Bush

Ebates is 10% cash back right now for Kohls!!

  22. dealhousewife

Kohl’s sent me $10 kohls cash for my birthday (valid the whole month) so i just scored me a free cozy throw!! 🙂 (plus, 10% back through ebates!;)
I had gotten the large blanket for BF last year, LOVE IT!! (i know this one will be smaller, but i will like it too. i’m kind of a cozy blanket addict! lol!)

  23. Amy

I just got 2 of the doggy prints… I’ve been wanting to make some smaller blankets for my dog and this is cheaper than fleece fabric-I’m going to cut them up and re-hem into smaller blankets …. so I got 2 to make extra for some friends dogs also… we camp alot …this is a perfect little gift to keep our furbabies warm by the campfire!!! Thanks Hip2Save!!!!!

  24. Ashley

Price went up to $19.99! Hoping to use with the $5 of kohl’s coupon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for the heads up!
