Looks like a great deal! Unfortunately, none of the dates work for us. Maybe next time! Please keep posting. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn! You’re welcome Sandy!

  2. Jessica

Omgosh. Great deal. Would jump on it if we were not already going away in November and pulling our kids out of school for that trip. PLEASE keep posting these deals. Hope some people can go and have fun!!

NCL was running the same promotion a day or 2 ago – not sure if they still are though. Also, once you pick your cruise, go to cruisecompete.com and find the travel agent who will give you the most on board credit – we got almost $100 extra from a random agent that way!

    • marie

NCL does it all the time. We’ve boned several times through them, only way it’s worth it!

      • marie

        Oooppps….booked not boned. Sorry! Lol
The same cruise we’re doing through NCL is the same price but we got the unlimited beverage packages as well for the adults. Nice to see there may be options for other cruise lines in the future, although NCL is awesome

        • Katie

Yes, on the right dates you can get 3rd and 4th free and also free drinks packages or gratuities or dining packages (or 2 of those things if you’re only planning 2 per cabin). Also: that gave me a good laugh.

What does Ncl mean if yotu don’t mind me asking

How does cruisecomplete work? Do you buy cruise through that site instead? Sorry I’m confused.

I booked a cruise with this same deal in March. It is a great deal, but beware of taxes, tips, and port charges. They are more than the price of the cruise.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the feedback! Good to know!

  5. jane

Does that include food and drink ?

    • Keri B

Food yes. Drinks (soda and alcohol) are extra. Things like tea and milk are usually included

It would be great if someone can post tips for 1st time cruisers as I never went on a cruise and need all the info I can.I will really appreciate all the do’s and dont’s

    • marie

Bring your own soda and bottled water! You’re allowed to, and they aren’t free on the ship. Tap water, tea, and juice are usually free.
We only eat from the buffet, usually good food and not worth paying extra for fancy food, especially with kids.
There are plenty of forums that tell you these tips and tricks as well.

I was booked for June through Norwegian and it was awful . Not only did I pay 2200 for my family of 4 but after I had paid it they cancelled the cruise saying they had maintance that week. First I choose June because my kids would be out of school and I could port out of boston which my brother would be driving us so I didn’t have to pay to keep my vehicle there all week also. They told me to switch my dates and I’d have to go out of New York, I wasn’t happy at all. And they said they would give me a 15$ boarding credit, ummm it was gonna cost 700$ between gas porting fee and storing my car for the week as well as my brother wasn’t willing to drive all the way to New York. I will never use ncl again after that stunt. I can’t say for certain but I felt like they said it was for maintance because they didn’t sell enough tickets because two years prior they had done a 2 million dollar maintance…I did get my refund fortunately but the sister boat they were offering was bigger with less boats, not to mention it was earlier which would have been colder . I said I would suck it up and pay the extra if they upgraded my room for free and they declined . I was surprised as there websites states Customer service was there number one goal. This was my family’s first cruise as was as my first one and we were so let down, if anyone can remember how excited they were there first time , we were having it already paid and telling friends just put a bad taste in our mouths and would never recommend Norwegian to anyway, with that said we will be looking into this for sure:) Ty!

Airplane bottles inside the suitcase. Inside socks and in with toiletries. Haha. Never had them confiscated. Been on alot of cruises. Never paid for alcoholic drinks. Not guaranteed but my experience was good. 😉

You don’t have to eat dinner at the buffet for it to be free. The sit down dining rooms where you have a waiter are a free too. The dining experience usually takes 1-1.5 hrs so it could be easier to take kids to a buffet, but we still prefer the dining room for dinner. Check each cruise line’s policy for what you can bring onboard. We have sailed Princess and RC and Princess was much more lenient. I think most cruise lines you can bring 2 bottles of wine onboard per person. Hubby doesn’t drink wine so I drink all the wine and we only have to pay for his drinks. My favorite cruise forum is cruisecritic.com.

    • Mommee444

@sijaz go to the cruise critics forum. It has all the info you need for any cruise destination, cruise line what’s included etc
