Amazon Prime Photos: Members Can Now Share Unlimited Photo Storage Space with Up to 5 People
Amazon Prime members!
Take a lot of photos? Starting today, Amazon Prime members (not a member? sign up for a FREE 30-day trial here) can now share unlimited photo storage space and 5GB of video storage space with up to five people with the newly added Family Vault feature in Prime Photos!
If your family members take a lot of photos on different devices during a holiday or summer vacation, this feature will definitely come in handy when it comes time to share your photos with each other!
With Prime Photos, you can view and collect everyone’s photos together in the Family Vault and your photos stay private until you choose to add them. Your photos are also organized automatically so there’s no tagging required. Plus, you can access them on the web or with the Free apps for iOS and Android.
What happens when you cancel your prime membership? Do all your photos disappear?
Good question, I was curious about that too.
Hmm, that is a good question Sarah. Maybe contact them to be certain as to what happens with the photos when cancelling.
I’m contemplating canceling my Dropbox account.
I uploaded all my photos as a back up a few months ago. The app is great. It’s easy to find only photos and memories. If only there was more video storage, but so far I’ve loved it!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the feedback Kyle!
I love my Prime!
I love all things Amazon but. . . when I ordered the free prints they were horrible quality! I expected more from Amazon 🙁
Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear they did not turn out well. Have you contacted them about it?
Does anyone know…..
Is photo sharing the same as sharing the other Prime benefits? For example if I add my parents to photo share for easy sharing of pics of the grandkids….would it also add them to my online shopping account where things might get confusing when it comes to gift cards and which credit/debit card is charged??
