Quick review on it…. I have super curly thick hair and it straightens really well if I use a lot of conditioner on days I straighten. The buttons are placed in an awkward position if you use your right hand it is very easy to press the up and down buttons. Over all I purchased it for $23 so this price is awesome for a great brush straightener. Not too heavy to hold either and gets really hot. On humid days I have to use my flat iron after I use the brush to get the frizz out. I recommend it.

Hi Schuwoman! I purchased one of these for my 12 year old that has super thick hair. I had read the mixed reviews and thought since it was so cheap I would give it a go. She’s very tender headed but she enjoys using this on her hair. It doesn’t get it as straight as it does by using our Chi flat iron but it works pretty well and she’s not afraid to use it like the flat iron. I was kind of surprised at how well it worked after some of the reviews I had read! Hope that helps 🙂
Angela, your daughter’s hair is exactly like my daughter’s, which is so thick she can barely brush through it and forget about me trying because of her sensitive head. Be careful with these…. I know there’s at least one pink brush on Amazon that’s from another country. The “outlet plug” is NOT AT ALL American. You’d have to buy an adapter to use it.

I have wavy hair and it did not straighten my hair. It did get the dent out you get after having hair in a ponytail.

I had it a few months ago, but then i returned it coz it never worked. My hair is very lightly wavy and i used it and it took me FOREVER to straighten them. I followed all the instructions correctly. The only thing i noticed was that only if i take like very very small amount of hair at a time it worked fine. My personal opinion is that if u can spend about and hour or more just to straighten ur hair, go ahead n buy it. My flattening iron straightens in about 10 mnts. So this was a waste of time for me.

I had this and returned it. My hair is wavy/curly and all it did was tame it down but didn’t straighten and seemed to be a little damaging. The buttons are awkward and it’s super easy to turn it off while using it.

This was useless to me. I would not recommend buying it. It didn’t work and the buttons are in a terrible spot. I kept turning it off which became super frustrating.

I bought one of these and hated it. It is very heavy and clunky. I kept hitting myself in the head with it and it did not straighten well at all. I would never recommend this to anyone.
I ordered this the last time it was on sale for about $20. I tried it and it did not work as well as my chi flat iron. I have super thick, frizzy, and wavy hair. I was interested in something faster than my flat iron but the flat iron works so much better and faster as well as makes my hair look better. As much as I wanted it to be my new styling tool, it was not for me.
