We found these to run *very* small, for example when my son was generally in 12m clothes, he was wearing 18m Gerber onesies and they were snug.

Thanks for letting us know Katie!

Yes, I found this out after we brought our daughter home from the hospital. Everything was already washed & she was only able to wear 1 onsie, the one we tried on her.

        Hi Vanessa,
I would buy 9-12 month clothes. They seem to stay in those sizes longer and zoom through the early sizes. (My friends and I experienced the same.)

It was a gift, so I was sad that someone took their time to buy 0-3m & she couldn’t use it. We’re keeping them for the next one, in case they are a few ounces lighter. 8lb 13oz But in future I’ll know.

Off topic but I think the trading thread is no longer here — I have a Shutterfly FS code I would trade for 8 Pampers diapers codes! (I’m sooo close to getting the kitchen!) prettyinpink2904 at yahoo dot com

Upon completing the activities, you are asked to download a plug-in (“Digital Coupon Printer”) before being able to print the coupon…and my computer detected that the plug-in is malware. Not good!

Great deal as far as onesies, but Gerber ones run really small!!! Worked great for my daughter who was only 5lbs at birth, but then grew out of them within days. Same for my son, I bought 3 packs of different sizes from my registry, but ended up returning 2 packs after he grew out of the 1st pack within 2 weeks. I find Carter’s and Target’s Just One You (joy) work better and last. My son is 6 months old now and still wearing some of 3M onesies from carters and JOY.

Was going to get some a while back when there was a coupon glad I didn’t now. Thanks for sharing they run extremely small.

  6. Kitty

My target app says it’s also BOGO 50% off. How would that work if you buy 2 and use 2 coupons and cartwheel?

  7. Tonya

These do run small as other people have mentioned. Besides that, I really like how lightweight they are!

Stocked up at Walmart the other day. Mine had a cart full for 2.00 for 6. For some reason it was the bonus onesie packs!!

I am not a mom, so I need some advice. I would like to buy the onsies to donate. What size do you feel would be most useful? Thanks in advance!

    • Andrea

I would say 12 months in this brand. How kind of you!

Yes, these do run small. With that in mind, I still really like these. They are lightweight. This makes them perfect to wear on my baby at nighttime. She’s is one of those babies that gets too warm in anything else for sleeping.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the helpful feedback!

These are cut small & shrink terribly. Best ones to buy are Carters.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear they shrink 🙁 Thanks for the honest review!

If you have a dog that’s chewing on himself and want an alternative to the “cone of shame” (Elizabethan collar), the onesies are a great alternative. Our dog is about 30 lbs and quite long and a 24 month fit him in a Gymboree brand. Sadly, these would probably be too small for him. 🙁
