Shipping is $9.99. The cheapest item I found was a cello bag for $1. So $10.99 total. I didn’t think it was a fantastic deal. The candles were on sale last week for $12.50. With a 25% off coupon they ended up being $9.38 each. This was in store though.
If I order a clearance item, will I be able to get the candle? Or I can buy a small hand sanitizer and get the candle free?

If you put a small item in your cart they will charge $9.99 for shipping or that is at least what happened when I tried.
Yeah, they inflated the shipping charges so you are definitely not getting this for “free.” Shipping is usually $5.99. They are essentially charging a minimum of $4 for it. Still not a terrible deal, but if you are usually an “in store” buyer you can definitely do better than $9.99 for the candle (which is essentially what you’re paying if you are paying shipping).
Hi ladies! I did this deal a couple of days ago when I received a free candle email. I bought a medium candle on sale and paid $12 for two candles and shipping. I just tried to do the same and it’s also giving me $5.99 shipping
If I add the Autumn Medium Candle ($6.25) to my bag and that’s the only item in there, my shipping is $9.99. If I add another item (like PocketBac 5pks), it brings my shipping down to $5.99 (so, in essence, because B&BW is getting more business from me and likely making an “acceptable” profit, they will drop my shipping down). I get that they are in business to make money but I don’t like the “free with ANY purchase” scheme. It’s just a big draw to get people to buy (and it works) but it’s anything but free.
If you decide to return some of the items you buy do they take the free candle back too?

If your order is over $10 then shipping is 5.99. So I got a clearance candle and my total was 17.97 for both. 8.50 each for a nice candle not bad for not leaving to drag my 3 kids out 🙂

Ordering 4 50% off candles plus your free candle will give you free shipping but the total will be 45$ or 9 per candle.(not so great unless you live far away from a store)
Ordering 3 50% off candles and a 50% off medium candle will get you free shipping . your total will be 40$. Or 8 per candle (counting your freebie candle)
