WelliWisher or Our Generation doll for a 4 year old….
she has Caroline, but she isn’t very gentle with it so I put it up usually because I worry she will ruin her (her hair is kind of a disaster already)
Omgosh, my 4 year old daughter gave her bitty baby “make up” the other day and then put tape all over her entire body because she broke her bones and had to get rushed to the hospital. I almost cried!
Hahaha, so glad I’m not alone- she had Caroline ready to go “swimming” in a huge mud puddle….

I would say WelliWisher. The extra $$ upfront is worth it (especially since you can get it for $50 plus free ship right now). My 4 year old has it and adores it! The body is hard unlike the regular AG dolls so it’s definitely sturdier. She carries her dolls by the limbs and so far the welliwisher is holding up with no issues. The detailing of the face is beautiful and far better than the OG dolls IMO. The eyes stay open so no worries with little fingers poking & prodding it. The hair is going to need some taming no matter which doll you get. I heard Caroline’s hair is one of the hardiest to maintain. KIt & the welliwisher Camille would be the easiest, I think. My girls have Camille & Willa. Willa definitely needs a little brushing but Camille’s hair looks perfect (both have been stuffed in backpacks too).
