Sam’s Club: FREE eGift Card + FREE Cake AND Pie for Military Members When You Join or Renew
Calling all Military Members and family!
Through November 30th, Sam’s Club is offering active and former U.S. military and their spouses a FREE Sam’s Club eGift card when you join or renew as a Sam’s Plus Member, Sam’s Savings Member or Sam’s Business Member.
Here’s the breakdown:
- FREE $15 eGift Card with Sam’s Savings or Business Membership – $45
- FREE $25 eGift Card with Sam’s Plus Membership – $100
The eGift card will be provided to you at the same time that your membership is purchased and your card is issued.
And this deal gets even sweeter as you’ll also receive your choice of a FREE cake (choose from Italian Creme, Chocolate Layer Fudge or Carrot Cake) AND a FREE Pie (choose from Holiday Sampler, Carmel Apple or French Silk Pie).
*Note that in order to take advantage of this offer you will need to provide proof of Military service.
Why purchase a Plus Membership?
Check out this comment from Hip2Save reader, Ger: The plus membership gets you cash back after spending $500. And we can never go without spending $200. So at the end of the year, I ended up getting $100 back on my account! Wayyyy worth it. Plus with this kind of membership you can get in early hours & the warranty is extended past the regular warranty.

The egiftcard is year round. They have a military SAMs membership.
True, but not the pie/cake deal. Collin posted several years back a better offer with like a chicken, croissants, etc., but have not seen that one since, so we’re jumping on the pie/cake freebie.
Yes. just pointing out that this isn’t the best SAMS club offer for people that can wait.
I just renewed and I didn’t get pie and cake but I got the 15 gift card
Wait 10 business days, go in and purchase pie and cake, it will be automatically taken off your bill.
Then fine print is at your customer service desk.
I just got a membership last week & my husbands retired Military, do you think they’d honor this if I asked?
They should, go to customer service desk and ask, i did that last year for my fatherand they honored his discharge papers.
Any thoughts on how to follow up on this? I renewed (military), paid, and haven’t seen the e-gift card. I wonder if it is showing up as an option at checkout that I’m not noticing when I pay in the store? Does anyone know? I see someone mentioned the pie/cake portion wouldn’t show until a pie/cake is purchased. Thoughts, please??
Am I too late (even though I renewed and paid before November 30th)?
