    are these ios 10 compatible?

    • Nonebetter

According to the Apple website yes–Hope that help!!

    • Sarah D.

I have the iPad Mini 2 and it just updated to the most recent software update which is 10.1.1 so these IPad Mini 4 will definitely update to the 10.1.1
Also I got my IPad Mini 2 at Best Buy for $199.99 this past summer, paid $60 for the survivor case which I highly recommend.

  2. Laura

They should be, I have the mini 2 and mine works with the new iOS 10.1.1

Does anyone know if there are any college student discounts to use for this?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad you could snag one! YW!

1% cash back through Ebates $5 cash back through Ibotta if they have this in your local Best Buy–thanks Collin this is on my daughters Christmas list!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re so welcome!

Heads up if you went through Ebates…the fine print says no cash back on tablets.

That being said, this is a great deal! My daughter has a 1st gen that can’t update to the iOS10, and we bought refurbished from Apple 4 years ago, so she just spent all the money she has saved up to buy this. Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy she could score a new one Hilary! You’re welcome!

Is 32gb generally enough or would I be better off getting the 64gb? It would mostly be for 2 school aged kids to play some games and do school work on. TIA!

    • Hilary

32gig should be absolutely fine. My daughter had a 16gig for four years and had a ton of apps on hers without a problem. She is on her way to Best Buy right now to pick up her new 32. Hope that helps!

    • Kristina

I would go with 64gb for a better experience. Several apps — Minecraft and especially car racing games — take up a ton of space. You can also put the Kindle app on the iPad and books take up a bit of space too. Nobody wants to constantly be deleting things. My kids both had 16gb iPads (oh, the frustration!) and I recently upgraded them both to 64gb iPads.

I’m getting an IPad for my daughter for christmas. She will mostly be using it for games, watching netflix, and facetime. Should I wait to get the iPad 2 on black friday for $199 or get the iPad 4?

    • Nicole

I’d spend the extra $25 to get the 4.

    • Kitty

The iPad mini 2 came out 3 yrs ago so definitely worth paying a little more for iPad mini 4. I got one at the store today and used my AMEX card for $25 statement credit after spending $250 at Best Buy. You will also get $5 Best Buy rewards for spending $250 and then $5 rebate on Ibotta. I basically got it for $240.

Will this be any cheaper on bf ?

  10. Jocelyn

Target offer a price match. And as of today only you can get an extra 10% off all electronics plus extra 5% if you use target credit card. So do the math 275 at best buy subtract 10% comes out to 247.50 then subtract another 5% it would come out to 235 plus tax.

    • Mickey

They won’t do that with price match. It’s either or

  11. Tammy B

    Thank you !

    • Tammy B

Do you mean they won’t do the 10percent on top of price match ?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  12. Donna

Thank you SOOOO much Collin! I just bought one of these 6 days ago online for $349. Bestbuy.com credited me the difference of $125!! I never would have known about this sale price if it wasn’t for you and H2S!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Donna! 🙂

  13. Veronica

Thank you so much! I was going to wait for Black Friday to get an iPad mini 2 but this deal was too good to pass up! 😁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  14. Evan

Darn the one I wanted is sold out😡

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! 🙁

  15. Kenya

I just tried to order on line and the 16 fb is sold out!

  16. Stacey

Anyone know how long these will be this price?

  17. Cg

Got one for my little one for Christmas! Great deal!

  18. Larissa

Is this deal just good through today? I really want to wait and try to price match at Target in the morning because I have a few Target gift cards, but am afraid this price ends tonight. Does anyone know? Thx!

    • LocoCoco

On Best Buy website the iPad mini 4 sale event is listed on page 39 of their November 20-23 weekly flyer. I would assume the price would be valid for these dates or until they all sale out.

      • Larissa

        Thank you!
