    Cant get mine to work, not now or during the last time. Says servers are down, try again later. I tried on my cell, iPad, android. Does anyone know if it allows it through desktop? My app won’t let me reload.

      Same here. I tried it about 50 times the last time they had this offer and I got the same error message and now today I tried it and it still won’t work…Frustrating!

      You need to uninstall app and reinstall it. After you reinstall it, you must click the sign in button and not new account one. Make sure to hit the sign in button. I just had to do this. If still having problem, you may also need to reset password

      It’s been about 30 for me and nothing so far. I’ve done this in the past and it took forever to get it. As long as it comes, I’m ok with it!

      Try signing out and signing back in. As soon as I did that I finally got a pop up confirmation saying that I will receive a $10 egift in 24 hrs, this was after a few hours of waiting and not getting a message. So glad I didn’t try purchasing again!

    Re-added my card through visa checkout on the app and received no notification or message about the $10 bonus. Been waiting about 10 minutes hoping Id get something and nothing… Seems like Ive wasted $10. 🙁

      Log in and log back out…it had been 5 hrs and I had still not received confirmation. When I logged out and back in it appeared!

    Why do people think they wasted 10 if it doesn’t work for them? You still have 10 to spend at Starbucks you don’t lose your 10. You just don’t get the Extra 10…not wasted money lol

      Probably because they wouldn’t have spent the $10 at Starbucks if they didn’t get the bonus $10. So it feels “wasted” when you wouldn’t have purchased it without the “sale.”

      I was thinking this too… The $10 is going to be spent at Starbucks (eventually) anyway…😁 I don’t do these promos unless I’m prepared to commit the $10 or whatever $$ it is.

    So I called visa and they told me to call Starbucks. I called them and they told me to give it 24 hours and if it didn’t show up to call them back. They said they would give $10 on your card if it didn’t work.

      Actually, I just closed the app completely and re-opened it (as a few other commentors suggested), and there’s a message that says the eGift should arrive via email within 24 hours! 🙂 Give that a try!

    reinstalled app and still get error.

      Try closing the app and re-opening it and see if you have a message there (mine was at the top of the screen).

      It’s been since Collin first posted this deal earlier and I have yet to receive an email about my $10 gift. My husband did it and received his email right away but I’m not going to worry about it. Starbucks will honor it if I call them tomorrow if I don’t receive the extra $10. Same for you

        Starbucks said they were not honoring the extra $10 if it was through no fault of starbucks if it isn’t showing for you. I had called earlier in the day and informed that that disclaimer is under the promotional information.

    Crap. I downloaded the Starbucks app and loaded $10. using my Visa card NOT Visa checkout as I didn’t have that. I go back to ‘edit payments’ and I signed up for Visa checkout. Not it states my active payments are Visa checkout. Wonder if I will still get the $10. surprise still??

      You have to use Visa Checkout as your payment method, in the app, to score the offer. Hope this helps!

    Does this work if I pay with paypal?

      No. As stated, you have to use Visa Checkout. But what I did was request a Paypal Debit Card, then added that # to Visa Ckout. I cash out the rebate apps (Savingstar, Ibotta) to Paypal so it keeps me funded w/out dipping into my linked savings acct!

        Forgot to add, it takes about a wk to get the card, so you’ll probably miss this deal. But it’s an option for future deals!

    I was having major problems with my mobile app, the card loaded to my visa checkout disappeared and it wouldn’t let me reload the card. I reloaded through my computer and got the notification on my phone right away about receiving the egift in 24 hours.

    Oh my word! The credit never showed up on my Starbucks account so I logged back out and tried again. Still didn’t show up so I called VIDA checkout and they could give me any info. Call my bank and they told me to cancel my credit card because now VIA checkout has all my info! What a drag and a huge hassle
