Save Your Plastic Wrap & Aluminum Foil Boxes to do THIS…
Here’s a smart holiday tip!
Start saving your empty tin foil and plastic wrap boxes to gift Christmas goodies over the holidays! Just remove the sharp teeth on the edges, paint, and embellish as desired.
I used chalkboard paint on one example, and then holiday-related stencils on the other. So fun!
The same idea can be applied to food containers like Pringles chip canisters and cookie tins. It turns into a fun and easy craft idea!
That’s an awesome idea for gifting cookies! So much better than other options and unique! I’m going to have to save up my containers for next Christmas! 🙂
Never thought of this. Thank you for sharing!
We reuse coffee creamer containers since most have the plastic you can peel off. Great because they close tight and you can pour whatever you have inside.
Great idea!
Great idea, Lina. Another tip: my mom always used Pringles canisters for cookies.
Is it safe to use paint?
Yes..it’s not toxic. Nor is the food up against the paint, dry well & line with tissue or parchment paper as shown.
Perfect for banket!!!
What a great economical frugal creative idea!!! Love it!
So great!
Those are spoon cute! I wish I used more Plastic wrap & tin foil!
Wow, what a great idea! So cute!
Thanks Heather!
Cute, thanks Lina!
Nice idea, thank you! Just put one in the recycle – will go retrieve it! 🙂
