We bought this antenna a few months ago because it has good reviews but it did not work for us at all, we asked for
our money back.
Darn! Sorry to hear it did not work! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Get the amplified one. We are only a few mikes from the tower but this one picked up a few channels. We switched to amplified and it picks up all of the available channels.
Thanks for the helpful feedback! Good to know!
I’m having the same problem with this antenna only picking up a few channels even though I am not far at all from tower. Do you have a specific product you can suggest that amplifies?
Be careful when buying these. We have bought two now, neither one worked well. I would suggest if you are going to buy one get it somewhere local that it can be easily returned if need be.
I bought it a while ago. After hookup, i recommend a tv near a window for better reception, however the cord is quite long. it added about 10 local channels. Overall it is a good product.
Thanks so much for the helpful review!
We just do the bunny ears Home Depot $10. We bought one of this a couple of years ago on Amazon for $50 and it didn’t work as well, bunny ears worked better and we paid less.
We ordered and got this yesterday for only $12. We are getting over 35 channels, even with the basics the investment beats cable any day. Wish I’d done this sooner!
Thanks for sharing Crystal! Glad to hear how much this helped!
Go to antennaweb.org to put in your address to see the possible ota stations you may get. I can get 3, my friend a few miles away gets none.
It says 33 for me. I know my aunt has one and gets just about that.
Going to give it a try for $12, will send it back if it doesn’t work.
The Amazon basics antennas are really good, we’ve bought 3 now (no longer have cable) and have yet to be disappointed. The picture is so good (HDTV’s) that we forget it’s from an antenna.
Big lots $10
