I’ve had both before. I personally like Birchbox better. You do not get a cosmetic bag like you do with ipsy. However, I like their store and point system much better. I’ve been able to get lots of free full sized products fairly quickly. I also like the selection of products in Birchbox. The biggest thing for me is the stellar customer service. Any time I’ve had an issue they respond and take care of it and then some. Here’s my referral

I’ll be honest. I don’t love birchbox. I signed up a few months ago and so far I’ve gotten mostly stuff I have no use for. If anyone is looking for a subscription service that has more makeup and less skin/hair stuff I highly recommend ipsy. I’ve been a subscriber for years and I love love love it. $10 a month for 5 – 6 high quality cosmetics. Either full size or deluxe sample sizes. It’s customizable too.
