Does anyone know if I call my local target with the DPCI number if they will hold it for me?
They probably won’t because it’s clearance. It’s always best to check yourself because on great deals if the workers aren’t aware they might even say they don’t have in stock, then buy it themself.
Yup. Very true. My coworker who is having a grandchild has a cousin that works at target and she gets sooooo much stuff on clearance because her cousin holds it for her. It really irks me because the last clearance that target had on baby items, she got a crib, car seat, 3 bags full of clothes, bibs, plush toys, u name it for less than $200. 😡 I don’t feel that’s right bc other ppl should have the opportunity to get those deals.
They usually won’t hold clearance. You also run the risk of tipping off the employee who may then buy it his/herself.

We have one of these and the release tab is so crazy difficult. It’s the nicest seat we own (we’ve had 5!) and by far the most difficult to use. So weird huh?
I agree on the release, especially now in winter when I’m usually wearing gloves and my fingers are still frozen 😑
but it is otherwise a great seat- my toddler falls asleep about 75% of the time in it, even on short trips (for real). But I wish it had a built in cup holder for a sippy cup or toys, since he’s strapped in and can’t reach.
Hate the strap release button on this car seat. The straps stay so tight when trying to get my son out. And I agree that it should have a cup holder. I bought the maxi cosi for my daughter due to my frustrations with this seat
