Off topic – I have my Kohls card and also a Kohls giftcard. If I use the giftcard online, it doesn’t let me use my MVC status for free shipping and extra 30%. Does anyone know a trick to this? I feel like my Kohl’s giftcard is worthless.
What stinks about Kohls is that you can’t use a gift card exclusively for a purchase AND use card holder coupons as well. You have to charge at least something to your Kohls card – I’ve charged as little as $1 to my Kohls charge and the balance on a GC before. But it’s tricky to do, esp online if you have a generous GC that covers your entire purchase. So in short – you can’t use card holder exclusive coupons if you’re not using your card at all.
You can use gift cards to pay your balance in store! I use my Kohl’s card and then pay it off with gift cards.

Why people are simply not giving code and want to trade if their code expires instead give someone who can use.

Amy, I always give my codes away when they are about to expire, I gave away bunch of Shutterfly codes and Kohl’s codes this season. But when I do have a coupon that will not expire for another month and I am not sure if I am going to shop at Children’s Place or not and someone could use it and have something they’re not going to use that I could use, then we both benefit… Now to sell your 40% Kohl’s code for $10 paypal like people did yesterday, that’s a different story…
