I’ve got a great idea, since they are super low priced, perhaps people can buy 3 coats, get the free shipping, & then donate to kids that can’t afford coats!
Laurel, I did that a few weeks ago at Sears, when the Shop Your Way Rewards made them free after rewards. I used my rewards (2 accounts, mine and hubby’s) to buy comforters and bath towels for a number of refugee families coming to our town. The coats went to my daughter, who is a social worker for CPS in CO. They have a room where they keep supplies for children. We live in such an awesome country, you wouldn’t think someone would be without a winter coat, but people would be horrified if they knew the truth. Kids don’t ask to be without basic needed supplies but it happens and since I am able to help, I help as much as I can. I also do a lot with a local cat/kitten rescue and a low cost spay and neuter clinic for animals. Makes my heart feel good doing for others.

I just tried, and no luck in store with the coupon. They’re considered ‘specials’ and are excluded from coupons.
I selected no rush shipping and got $5 Macy’s money! So even cheaper of you factor that in!

I was using a mobile device. However, I had to call customer service twice (worst experience of my life!) about a billing info problem, and when I asked about the discount code, was told the since this was a door-buster type deal, it was already marked down so much that I couldn’t use the code as well.
They also assured me that my order would go through, even though I missed uncheckibg the “use shipping info for billing” button. I guarantee you it won’t go through, since they don’t have any information on the order for the name/address associated with the credit card. I’m SO frustrated.
I had also placed a second order, done correctly, so 2 of my six grandchildren may not get a coat like their siblings do. 🙁

I love reading the comments on hip2save! After I made my purchase for three items, I was really excited about my deal and naturally came here to post my thanks to Collin. As I was reading other comments, I realized my deal wasn’t as sweet. My total was $52.77. I looked back at my order and I noticed that the promo code was not applied to all the items ordered. I read about Brenda’s experience and was confused too why they didn’t honor the code for her order. That didn’t deter me. I called customer service and told them what happend. The rep promptly gave me the discount for everything and refunded $10+ back to my cc. Now I feel like I got a real deal! Brenda, I hope all work out for you. Call customer service back. I bought the rothchild brand coat last year. it is really nice. my one complaint is that the zipper gets stuck in the fabric behind it a lot.

Thank you soooooooo much I bought one for my nephew and he really loved it but I got it toooo small! It was a headache to send it back so I promised him I was going to send him a new one 🙂 something happen to my account and I was able to call customer service to redeem my 10 Macy’s money so I got this jacket for only a few dollars thank you sooooo much 🙂

Had a terrible conversation with customer service. They will not credit me the 20% off the coats. I failed to do it at checkout.
Go to their site and do a price adjustment online. Works fast and easy. Macy’s is normally very good with doing price adjustments. I’ve always done mine online. HTH
I have five kids (and another on the way), and we usually find hand-me-down coats that work for us. With five kids, even a sale like $20/coat = $100 for all the kids. A lot of money. Today after they played in the snow, I was looking at my older two kids’ coats (with holes that need patching) and thinking, “Ugh!
