Yes, I was on trial as well, got $25 credit immediately and my prime trial was up at midnight. I bought a $25 Starbucks card.

I received the email within an hour…. But can’t seem to get the promotional credit to apply at checkout 🙁 Automatically tries to take payment from my gift card balance. A little confused but going to give it a few days.

In order to get the credit you must purchase an item that is SOLD AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON. Then the credit will be applied when u check out. U will not see the credit otherwise.

How do you know if you got the credit. I got the email, but I don’t see the credit on my account?
Must add items to your cart that are “shipped and sold by Amazon” and the credit will come off at checkout. It’s there you just have to pick certain items.
U won’t see the credit until you purchase something SOLD AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON.

I’m hoping I get the email that says I get the promo credit – I did it this morning and only got the one saying I have my membership now. I have used audible before but haven’t had a membership since this summer. Crossing my fingers and if not, I guess I’ll just enjoy a book and cancel 😉

Got my credit am hour after joining audible (I’m not technically a new member, I just cancel after every promotion) and used it to get a Whole Foods gift card.
I wonder why some get the credit right away and some don’t. I haven’t even got an email about the credit yet and signed up last night. I hope it comes through!
For anyone wondering if the offer works for people that previously had an Audible account, it did for me. I canceled my subscription in November and when I clicked on the link provided in this post, the gold button was available. I took a chance and subscribed again and received the $25 credit email confirmation within an hour.

what id’s good about audible? I mean never ever have used it… what does it offer you? is it like ok ks on tape? does it show you picture books for like kids? or is it just voice? hope it’s not too silly to ask.
It’s just the convenience of listening to a book, no pictures just the cover page and you hear the voice of the narrator. I like it because I can be doing other things and still listen to the book. I do feel that I would like to still actually hold a book or at least see the words like kindle to go along. But I enjoy it for when I don’t have time to actually sit down and read it myself. The quality is good at least for the ones I’ve heard. 🌺

In the left column where all the filters are (like department, ratings, etc) often they have a “sold by” filter – just choose Amazon. It’s not always there unfortunately, often you have to narrow down to a specific department before you can see it.
Do you have to be a paid Prime Member? I have an Amazon Prime I just activated. In the terms and conditions it just says a Prime Member. I purchased the Gold Membership for Audible yesterday night. Have not received an email stating I have been granted the credit but, it could take up to 10 days.
Let me reiterate because, I said that poorly. I just activated a Amazon Prime (Trial).
You can get the $25 on free trial with Prime. I did that as well.
Can I buy a gift card with the credit?
Yes. Just not an Amazon gc I think.

I saw the offer on amazon. It said within 10 days you will get the email but, people have been getting emails within hours. I have yet to get mine and I ordered the Audible Gold Membership on Sunday Night.

My email went to junk mail. I searched my mail for Audible and found it that way. Wasn’t expecting that as I get 10 emails from Amazon a week in my inbox. Something about this email filtered it into junk.

Same. I have a call in to Audible, the woman I talked to is sending it to her supervisor and said she’d call/e-mail within 24 hours. I meet all the requirements.

She called me back the next evening and gave me a code for the $25 credit. Of course I somehow can’t find anything sold by Amazon that I need right now, but $4 of it went toward a book so far. I’d call and have the verbiage of the e-mail handy. Good luck!
