I wouldn’t feel super fuzzy about giving anyone my CC info but I’d gladly Paypal the $ over once it has shipped unless you have a better/different idea. Or I can send you an Amazon eGiftCard.

I can’t imagine how quickly this deal expired. I have no children but I wish I had several I could provide to people at a reasonable cost. I saw them on sale for hundreds of dollars on eBay. That just isn’t right.
My boys had this on their list and I was keeping my eye out for it until I saw our local news do a story on them recently. So a local 9 year old & her mother showed hers and talked about the excitement of it hatching. After that the girl said it got boring – real fast. After hatching I guess it goes through stages of learning to speak but the girl said it was pretty silly and she quickly lost interest. Her mom went on to say that it was a birthday gift two months ago and since the initial hatching she hasn’t touched it. After thinking about it I thought I couldn’t really spend that much money on a toy where the hype was all about an egg breaking open. I would be interested to see how many families have similar stories once the initial excitement is over.
Also amazon has 1 star review for more than half the people who their eggs didn’t even hatch. My daughter wanted one and she got a furby years ago which she doesn’t play with either. I had her sit with me and read these sad emoji reviews and she and I were convinced I did the right thing by canceling my order. It was one of those things I feel deep in my gut it would cause more heartache when it didn’t hatch than happiness and I’m not willing to throw away 60 bucks of my hard earned money for all this stupid hype. It was a teaching moment for both of us…
I read the toysrus reviews and many had problems with it even hatching. My husband got 1 but I think it’s way too expensive and a waste. Apparently I’m a grinch hahahhaha.
If you are still in the market for one, try using http://www.zoolert.com. It is an in stock tracker and notifies you when they are in stock at online retailers. That is how I snagged 2 for my girls over the past few days/weeks.

I saw a dozen of these things just sitting on the shelf in Target this morning around 10:30 and apparently had been there since they opened at 7. I am sure they are gone by now, but they were at the Tallahassee North store if anyone is in my area. I was shocked to see them just sitting there.
