The money I get back needs to be used on a product that won’t generate additional points, correct?.so I’ll need to spend $30 on items that are regular or clearance priced…without using additional coupon codes? Is that worth it then?.will I find items? What do other hipsters use that money for?.food items?.
You can use points earned with coupons and surprise points.
I used all mine to get a mattress, then bath rugs for the bathroom. Stuff like that.
Points can be used on anything except the stock disclaimers like gift cards, liquor, etc. The only thing is that you won’t get any points back. That is—-you could buy this once and earn points, and if you need another, but a second one using points, but the second time you won’t earn any points. It’s essentially saying points do not roll.
And yes, you can use points with other coupon codes. I do it all the time.
Has anyone actually gotten the points when ordering stuff like this? I got my son a lego last week and it said I would get $24 in points. I picked up he lego on Friday and still haven’t received my $24 in points.
You should get the points right after the item is picked up. Call customer service. They were really good last time I had to call.
I did…I ordered a dining room buffet (needed a room filler, I’ll get something nicer down the road) and my account reflected $127 back in points about 24 hours later. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. We went ahead and cashed those points back (they were only good for like seven days) and got our daughter a new bike – it was $180 but after points and coupons it ended up being like $29 out of pocket. Hope this helps. Just screenshot everything.
SYW is a huge program. There are mess ups as with any program. Sometimes points can take a few days to post. Sometimes there is a mess up and you need to contact customer service. But yes, in general, people get their SYW points. (It’s the same program that Sears uses.)
