If you have more than 2 free coke coupons, I would recommend breaking up your transactions into groups of 3 cokes at a time. The way CVS rings up there will be a higher price on the first 2, then the 3rd one will be discounted. That way the cashier can give you a higher value on all your coupons instead of just the first 2. When I do this 2 at a time it works great!! HTH

Last year CVS gave me a very difficult time using my free coupons. I left my normal CVS and went down the street and they had to get a manager and he begrudgingly allowed me to use the free coupons. In the past I never had any problems actually used to get overage and the extra bucks when using the coupons. He indicated that he was told that they do not get reimbursed for the free 12 pack coupons.
CVS has denied all my coke coupons and they all have DIFFERENT reasons why! So frustrating!
Suave Hair Care is a Unilever product, and as usual the $3 off 2 coupon has a limit of 2 like coupons per shopping trip (so those scenarios would need to be modified). P.S. Thanks for all you do Collin!

If you aren’t getting cvs emails I highly recommend signing up to get them. Every Thursday I get a new coupon. Lately it’s been a $6 off $30 coupon that I use with the buy $30 and get $10 ECB items. I use my Coke coupons as well so in the end I end up getting $30 of items for free or making money, depending on what is under that offer for the week.
I haven’t gotten those for 6 months. 😞

Does CVS apply coupon overage to your total? I have $1.50 off Colgate Total, and with the $2.50 off store coupon, that’s $1 more than the $3 for the toothpaste. Do I lose the $1? Or does it apply to my overall purchase?
You’ll need to buy other things to use up the overage. You won’t get money back. But if you buy $4 worth of items, the full value of coupons will apply.

Anyone planning on doing the Coke deal with the free coupons state limit 4 in a transaction. My CVS made me break up transactions but since they were ringing up $4.49 each they took that amount off for each coupon.

Did the ECB not on your receipt for the purchase? If it did, the tracking will show you’re short until the next purchase, then it will say ‘offer limit reached’. I did read a few months ago that CVS was going to do away with the 98% calculation, that you need to hit the amount needed, but so far the stores in my area will still print as long as you hit 98%.
I think she is having digital receipts plus paper. I also confused first time. Then when I saw, it was in my app.
Yeah, it was a little confusing because I have the coupons sent to my card automatically, yet the paper receipt showed .02 needed for the reward. Oh well — it ended up working so all’s well. 🙂

Hi Collin, I got a $7 off $25 shampoo,conditioner,or styler. I’m fairly new to CVS couponing. I am trying to put together a deal and was wondering on the Pantene…if I would only buy 5 of them, would they ring up at $4 each? Or do you have to buy them in sets of 3? Thanks!!
They are $4.79 each or 3/$12. So you would need to purchase in sets of 3. Hope this helps!

you can ck for clearance items or the trial/travel section to bump your total to $25 to use the coupon.

% does not work on sale items. Even if you purchase 1 Garnier, $3.79 is the ‘sale’ price. Pretty much anything in the ad that is shown a price or like a B2G1 type promo, is considered being ‘on sale’.

So the week of the 15th did the Digiorno deal got 10.00 back. Last week did coke deal 10 would not print bottom of receipt said offer met. The gal tried to tell me that it was a two week add. I informed her no that the deal was for the same two products. Did anyone have this issue. As I would love to go get deal again worried ecb wont print???

I might be being dense here, but if the Almay BOGO 50% off = $7.94, and then I use two $4 coupons (-$8), how is it that the purchase price is still .97 cents?
Watch out ! This is what happened to me at CVS today. I brought 6 pizzas like Collin posted. I assume it should be $10/2, so $30/6 , after my two B2G1 free coupons scanned I was told the total is $22.98 not $20. The manager explained to me the first pizza scan for $6.49 and second $ 3.51. So the free pizza coupon only take off the lower price $ 3.51. Since I got my $10 ECBs I did not argue with him . It’s kind of tricky , right ! I was kind of disappointed but still a good deal.
Has anyone been bothered by cvs staff telling you a reusable bag can’t be filled with your items while shopping? I’ve been approached twice that I have to use a cart or hand basket and can’t use my reusable bag to place my items in. Anyone know a policy on this???
No, but you may want to call corporate to ask. I am guessing it would be kind of hard for them to differentiate in a written policy between a reusable bag and other kinds of personal bag (say a purse or a backpack), which aren’t OK to put unpaid merchandise into for obvious reasons. Meaning, how could they classify a reusable bag compared to a regular handbag? What if somebody is using that sort of reusable bag for their personal effects/as a handbag? I could understand if their policy really is that you can’t put unpaid items into anything besides a cart or basket because that keeps it simple for them to manage and avoids gray areas like trying to specify which types of other bags are OK vs. not OK.
Possible a flag for shoplifting. Just use a basket or cart while shopping, then when you check out they can fill the bag. Seems kinda silly to use the bag to shop only to have to unload everything on the counter and refill it. Just making more work for yourself.
I use a big IKEA blue bag. Quite noticeable and not similar to a handbag. Corporate is letting my local team reply to me.
On the Coke free from rewards . I got 9 so the $10 EBC was fine but only let me use one free coupon.
Wondering what is the deal with CVS. I was told that the Cokes (5 twelve packs for $15) were limited to buying five only. Also told everything in the ad for the $10 extracare bucks were the same. Like you could only buy 3 Pringles for $4. You could not get six and still get the sale price. I was going to buy 10 of the cokes, but had to put back 5 and buy all kinds of other stuff.
