  They were $1.50 clearanced here for the ones in a plastic jar like container. ( I dont know what season, lol sorry). This is a good price, thanks 😉

  Thanks for the Walmart clearance tip! I’m starting to collect small items on sale for my niece’s Easter basket. She loves blind bags and boxes, and I think it’s fun to watch her open them up.

  My dd just got into them at Christmas time so I know what you mean. Lol. $1 is good for a 2 pack, usually just under $3. Sometimes Amazon has good deals for the bigger packs.

  This is a good price on the little packs, however this is the previous season (we are currently on season 6). The mega packs are a good buy because there are no duplicates in the different mega packs (at least from my experience). There are you tube videos that reveal what is in each mega pack, so you know what you are getting before you buy.

  I feel like 0.50 each is easy in the bigger packs. These little packs are fun because you don’t know what is in then though. But they are priced higher per Shopkins than the larger packs.

  I risk duplicates with the individual packages because the fun for my child is the act of opening the bag/can/whatever. I’m paying $1+ a pop for that moment of excitement, not for the 2¢ piece of plastic within.

  Exactly, David! It’s the only reason I buy these darn things too because 2 cents of plastic is usually quickly lost and overlooked in a kid’s bedroom.

  Hey Hip2Save mods: have you considered updating your avatars to something less gender-specific, perhaps symbols? Scissors, coupons, dollar bills, etc. It’s a little odd to see David represented as a long haired female-type, unless he is, and then I apologize. 🙂
