I had exactly $9.95 in Shop Your Way points, so I got this camera for free! Thanks H2S!

I searched online with the model # and it didn’t have very good reviews on amazon. But for $10…

Thanks I’ll pass. I have many regular digital cameras, really tempted to strap one on my ski helmet!

The cameras are horrible. Vivitar CS is horrible too. I got the camera for $19.97 2 weeks ago but had to wait a week for a separately ordered a SD card. When I got the card in and took some pictures and wanted to see them on the computer, when I plugged it via a mini USB cable, the camera was not getting detected. I called Vivitar and they told me to get a new a mini USB or return the camera to Sears. I bought a mini USB and still got no camera detected (but I could see photos and videos on camera directly). Finally I figured out that I need to push the button on the camera besides plugging it in for it to get recognized. The instructional mini thing that comes with the camera is absolutely inadequate and actually is misleading. And Vivitar CS didn’t tell me anything about the need to push the button. I had other kinds of camera and they were all recognized when you just get them hooked to computer.

When I tried to set up the date on the camera, it froze up. I waited for it to waste all the battery charge and then to recharge it again for the camera to get back to life. The pictures taken inside are super grainy. There is no flash on the camera. It records audio but there are no speakers to hear audio when you play videos on the camera. I still have no right date set up on the camera. Horrible, horrible, horrible. And I cannot claim the price adjustment because it was listed as on clearance when I purchased it for twice it much.

Oh bummer! Very sorry to hear how frustrating your experience with Vivitar has been 🙁 Thanks for sharing!
