Do the covers easily come off to wash? Do I have to take out the car seat Every time I need to wash the cover?
Yes- you have to remove the seat. And it is semi difficult to take apart and wash.
Yes you need to take the seat out to get the cover off as there are little places it attaches in the back but it is pretty easy to do…the first time is awkward but then you know what to do and its easy. Highly recommend!

We had this car seat for years! When it came time to be a shoulder belt booster, it was almost impossible for an 6-7yr old to buckle. It sits up very high and the new suv belting system was immovable. I was annoyed having to buckle in a 7 yr old everytime…..so I ended up replacing with a cheapo evenflo booster for a year. Other than that, I loved that seat!
My son struggled for about the first 2 weeks when we transitioned him but then he figured out how to do it and does it great now. Maybe its a learning curve? We also have a new SUV with stuck (as we call them) buckles lol We love this seat and highly recommend!
We purchased this seat because our daughter was an extremely tall 5 year old who could not be trusted with access to the seat belt. She would unbuckle while we were driving. It has been a great seat and adjusted to her height as she has grown! And I’ve been able to use it in a pinch to transport my friends children because the height is adjustable. I have no complaints!

Fantastic chair! We have had a few different brands and this one reins superior to any other ones. It’s sturdy, comfortable and easy to use even for grandma.
My daughter is 7, my son is 5, and both are still using the 5 point harness. Other than their infant car seats, these are the only seats they’ve used. So my daughters still looks great after 5+ years! Best car seats ever!
Hi Carmen! What do you say to your 7yo about being in a 5 pt harness? (Which is great!) My daughter is 7.5yo and she occasionally complains that none of her friends still use boosters – and we just have her in a backless booster with seat belts. I explained that it keeps her safer and it’s because we love her and that seemed to help but I think she’ll be really upset (embarrassed) if she’s ever in the car with friends.
Love this car seat. Wish we had started with this one. Both my kids use it now after we wasted our money on several other kinds.
