I LOVE this vacuum!! We have a golden retriever and it picks up his hair so well!

How does it work on stairs and is it really lightweight?

      • Jess

We don’t have stairs, so I can’t answer to that. It’s not super lightweight, I think it’s around 18 pounds if I remember right. We’ve had it for 6+ years and it’s still going strong.

How does it work on stairs? Is it awkward? Is it really lightweight too?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback on how well it works on pet hair! Good to know!

The Hoover Air (The other vacuum Collin posted.) Is very lightweight, under 13 pounds. No issues on stairs, super easy to lift and take with. My other hoover wind tunnel bagged upright is a beast and so heavy compared to the Hoover Air.

Thanks so much for the helpful review Kasey!

I have this vacuum and I’m not a fan. It doesn’t pick up short haired dog fur well, the attachments that have squeegie-like rubber broke, the hose isn’t long enough to get the back of my couch, it’s fairly heavy, and it doesn’t generally seem to vacuum as well as Bissell OnePass I had previously.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that! 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience.

Here is question for dog lovers. I have a golden retriever and the hair is terrible (I brush him everyday) and I am wondering what your opinions are for a sweeper for dog hair? I need to get a new one. I have an Oriek and it’s worthless in my opinion.
