Thanks for the suggestion to runninwarehouse.com. I’ve been wanting to try Hoka and this price is right. Plus I’d rather have free shipping of course.
Has anyone worn these shoes before? Most reviews seemed good, but some were not. I even checked reveiws on amazon.
I bought these a week ago when REI was doing free shipping on them. I prefer buying from REI because you can return, no questions asked if you don’t like them. They are like Costco with their return policy and after recently buying some New Balances I hated, I wanted some insurance on these… so I paid this price with free shipping but recommend just buying and picking up. If you’re a runner, you know how important good shoes are.
I typically use Brooks but was looking for a change. I love Brooks, but was curious about Hoka… so bought these. Ran a 6-miler and 9-miler in them this week and they felt fine. Too early to tell, but I’m confident.
I did not size up and bought my regular shoe size (per reviews) and it was spot-on. They are a bit larger in the toe box and that’s great.
In case anyone is on the fence about buying Hokas, I will never buy any other running sneakers. I have a history of a broken ankle on the right and stress fracture on the left heel, with plantar fasciitis. These shoes are amazing, I currently own 2 different ones, trail runners and Clifton 2. They feel like clouds. I run faster than ever and they prevent me from heel striking. Love, love, love them!
Thank you for your reviews. I went to a store last night, because I usually wear asics gel nimbus. I bought them on ebay last time.
I tried the hoka brand at the store, and I did like them. I will try these, because I like the price too!
