We recently tried out the Cajun Chicken Jambalaya from Home Chef and I was rather impressed! This recipe was super simple to make, great tasting, and fresh! Everyone loved it and I will be making it again for sure. I love that I just learned to make a new healthy meal too!

I love Green Chef and so does my family (I order the meals for 2 and just add a little bit of additional meat to some the meals to cover my family of 4-the sides are plentiful). I’ve tried Muchery, Blue Apron, and Hello Fresh. Green chef has higher quality ingredients and a lot less prep than Blue Apron.

I have tried this one, blue apron, hello fresh and green chef. All are about the same price and all have a great referral program.
Hello fresh is the best in my opinion. They are easy to prepare and not much prep work. Everything comes packaged nicely.

I’ve found the 10 minute prep time on Hello Fresh was more like 35 min. Not impressed. But their food choices seem better than Blue Apron
This is totally worth it I have found for the cuts of meat and no wastefulness. I’m just an ok cook so I usually shy away from meats like steak, pork, and fish because I often do it wrong and it’s barely edible. Or I don’t know what cut or type to buy. I have found the neat they include to be very fresh and with just the right amount of fat, marbling, etc. so I don’t have to worry. They tell me exact how to cook it, so I am preparing what feels to me like gourmet stuff.

I want to also add the highlight of my day was Blue Apron shipping my meals today to the WRONG address (and they had the correct address). A neighbor pretty far down the street got our food at their door! Thank goodness they went to the HOA property manager and they looked up our name/address and they brought it over.

I have tried Hello Fresh and Blue Apron. I like HF better because they had better food choices (things I normally would not have tried on my own) and they were more consistent with their service. Blue Apron was “unable” to deliver the box and we had counted on food that night so we all had to go out. With prior notice we could have been more prepared. The following week’s replacement box had noodles that were softened by condensation, cheese that was opened and dirty and another side opened and ruined. It was just quite disappointing all around. We have been wanting to try Home Chef, thanks for this deal!!

I enjoy cooking but it’s nice to have someone else do the planning for me. Last night was quality sirloin with a blue cheese compound butter, green beans, and fingerling potatoes. So good and really fresh. I told my husband it’s not the steak that we buy at acme! Yes there are referral codes for $$ off! I haven’t had any takers yet but I think it’s great.

I tried this one and the meals take a bit longer than needed and the instructions make you use more dishes than you would normally. Trying this service made s mess in my kitchen comeosre to green chef and other that try to save you time and mess.
