I was given one of these about 3 years ago. It works okay. The outdoor temperature is sometimes reading very far off from what the real temperature is. Have been unable to figure out why. It’s better than nothing for price.

I have one, too, and find that it’s pretty accurate. I keep the outdoor part in an area that’s shaded so that the sun doesn’t hit it directly and throw the readings off but not too shaded so that it reads too cool either. HTH.
