I’m confused by this post. Is this perhaps sponsored by Gamestop? Otherwise I don’t get it since I normally see items with discounts or prices that are lower than MSRP.
The console comes out today. The fact it is in stock to be ordered is a deal in and of itself and NoA (Nintendo of America) is known for limiting stock to drive hype. See the Nintendo Classic that is still almost as rare as a UFO sighting and that came out in November. And don’t even think about wanting a Nintendo produced extra controller for the NES classic at retail…that is a true unicorn.

Wow, that’s consumerism right there. I thought this website was intended to inform people about deals and ways to save money by paying less for stuff, but about encouraging us to “go buy something because it’s the new thing and it’s available”.
I would expect this type of post in a gaming website or a website that about Nintendo fans. Not here.
By the way, I am a gamer, and I know that the Nintendo Switch is going to fail just like the WiiU did. Nintendo hopes to come back to the days of glory of the Wii but it’s not going to happen. Anyone that buys into this hype will end up being disappointed. Mark my words.

I thought the same thing. That is the price…so no ‘only’ about it. The only thing I saw was that it was available. Most online retailers do not have any available on their websites right now. It’s launch day so going into the stores might be icky if you already have a system shipping to your home and didn’t order this specific controller.

Not to mention the extremely already bloated Nintendo prices. But it’s ok to let people know about a product available on any forum including this one. It’s our choice as individuals whether or not to choose to buy it, savings or not. There’s hundreds of savings deals posted every day and I like to read the menu and only buy things I only really need. No need to slam H2S for being informative, deal or no deal.
