Me & my hubby just got a settlement check from Cabela’s class action lawsuit. Each received a check for $71
How does this work?? Is this a scam?
I have bought this deal before and was skeptical…I got a GC in the mail 4 days after buying the deal. The full $100 value was on the card. Was nervous bc I didn’t spend the card for 2 months and was sure something sketchy would happen between that time. To my surprise the $100 was still on it, untouched…I myself, wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!
Interesting. I wonder if you can buy 2 and use both at same time? I want a grill that is $300
Almost all retailers will let you use multiple gift cards in one transaction. There isn’t anything special about these, they’re just regular gift cards like you would buy for face value in the store. When I bought a new house a few years back $100 Home Depot gift cards were on sale for $90. I bought 30+ of them and used them all in one transaction to pay for new carpet. Discount gift cards are a great way to save on big purchases like a grill!
Ashely why would you think this is a scam (or that a scam would be allowed on eBay and have tens of thousands of positive feedback, or a scam be posted on this site)? Discounted gift cards are a very common thing. Just like anything else, what is on sale at any given time varies, but they’re a great way to save money if gc’s for a place you regularly shop at go on sale, especially if you foresee a big purchase coming up.
I bought 2 gift cards from eBay when they were $40 for a $50 card a few months ago. Just a heads up, they were pink camo. Ha, we were thinking of giving to some guys for Christmas, but that went out the window. We used them ourselves.
Thanks for the warning Connie! Good to know!
