Anyone have any personal reviews on this unit?

We had an undersink filter and after several months we had the water tested. Bleh. There were parasites in the water.

    • Leslie

Omg, what did you do to kill the parasites?

      • Lana

Took it out and threw it away. Apparently it is not uncommon for pathogens to grow in water filters.

Oh darn! Sorry to hear about that! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Are you by chance clicking on the Home Depot link? Be sure to click through the Amazon link above, as that is still showing $65.49. Hope this helps!

I invested in one of these called an RO (reverse osmosis) system. It takes all of the bad out and all of the good. They have things called ionizers that put synthetic minerals back into your water but truly aren’t good for you. I loved it at first and then realized RO water and bottled water alike are highly acidic because the PH levels are so low and unbalanced. This will cause people to have gerd, acid reflux, heart burn, gastritis, etc. It damages the acids in our stomachs. Ours really does pull everything out of the water using a 7 stage filter system, but I refuse to drink it. What’s worse is I had to wean off of the RO because my stomach could no longer handle the tap water. It took about 3 weeks, but I drink tap again. All of the over use of peoples personal opinions have literally made us scared to breathe outside air.

They need to ban floride in the water then can use a dif filter for other things and not have so much of the good stuff removed

The only way to rid your water completely of fluoride is using an RO system. That is why I purchased mine to begin with, but it just creates so many stomach issues. Other countries are starting to limit or ban the flouride so maybe the US will start catching on.

Thats also why i bought a ro was to remove flouride and for cooking/cleaning water. I hope they get it out of the water its hard to remove it without basically removing everything good also from the water if they didnt add it then could go filter with another type of filter and not remove all the good stuff yet remove sone of the other stuff like chlorine and stuff easier withour removing all the good stuff
