We have this model and absolutely love it! It’s great because you use whole coffee beans and get a pot of wonderfully fresh coffee. You can also use ground coffee if you prefer. My best friend also bought this model because we love ours so much! You will not be disappointed!
Same here! I’ve had mine for over 8 years. No problems.
How cool! Thanks so much for the great review! Happy to hear how pleased you have been with this coffeemaker!
For a savings of only $17 buy it new so you have a full warranty!
Be aware if you buy a Cuisinart coffee maker that you should keep and eye on it. Certain models have experienced electrical fires, including some of the brew and grind models. I can testify to that! We had a fire with our Cuisinart coffee maker. (Not this particular model). I did a search and found this to be a common problem. Whatever Cuisinart model you are thinking about, do a search for the model number plus fire or electrical fires. We stopped trusting the company after our fire. The company offered to replace our coffee maker, but we didn’t want to take the chance of our house burning down.
Oh darn! So sorry to hear about your experience Melissa! Thanks for the heads up!
I had a Grind and Brew 10 cup thermal carafe years ago and the electronics went haywire in it. The grinder would go off on it’s own and unless you unplugged or it would try to start making coffee even though it wasn’t set up and then it would just beep. Couldn’t stop it unless you unplugged it. Thank God for the 3 year warranty because every year I was calling Cuisinart to get a replacement because of the electronics. The 1st 2 only lasted 1 year and the 3rd I believe 2 years. I’ll never own another Cuisinart coffee maker again.
Bummer! Thanks for your honest feedback!
We have also not had a great experience with the Grind and Brew Cuisinart. We have had 3 over the last 8 years. Our last one was a free replacement and didn’t even last a year.
