I tried this but all the boxes at my target were expired! I showed the store and they took them off the shelves.
Same at my store in MA!
Same with my Target in CO! I found one box with a date of April 10th, but the rest were February 18th! I had to ask myself several times the current month 😉

I was at Target today-One of my favorite stores. I am a frequent Cartwheel user. I shop at a Super Target. 3 of the items I had in my Cartwheel—The Hostess Brownies, The Dove Chocolate Toffee, and the Stainmaster Pet Stain Remover-were not available at my store. I called the Target Corporate office and was told that perhaps I should check with the store prior to going to see if the items are available. I spent 30 minutes in the store looking for these 3 items before I asked a Target representative to help me locate the items. She explained that Cartwheel is Nationwide and not all stores carry all the items. Offer a substitute if the item isn’t available. There were at least 7 different flavors of the Dove Chocolate-but none were Toffee, several choices for snack brownies-non of them Hostess-and several choices for carpet cleaning-but not Stainmaster. Not too happy 🙁 I left with only 2 items.–Not good business.
I don’t know if it will help you, but if you have the Target app, (not the cartwheel app) it shoes you what aisle to find things on, and if the store doesn’t carry it, it will let you know. At least, this was how it was when I had the app. I had to delete it because to make room for Mobisave, lol. Sorry you had to go through that experience, though. That sucks!
