The gift card didn’t trigger and luckily I was checking out at guest services. I tried to explain to her that it’s supposed to include a $5.00 gc. She first tried to tell me I had to have 4 of the same and I said no I don’t. Next she said because they weren’t the same amount (my caress were $3.87 and my st. Ives were $3.97) I said that doesn’t matter as long as I have 4 total. She finally adjusted it to give me my $5.00 gc. I even explained that the shelf has the sign indicating the $5.00 gc. I was planning on going again if checkout 51 resets, but I’m concerned I may not get my gc next time.

I tried this deal yesterday and had the same experience. The register is not triggering the gift card with the mix and match scenario.
