    Not worth it this month.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for the honest feedback!

  2. Jen

The Acure mask was in one of last month’s boxes…I’ll wait for possible price drop! 🙂

I had not ordered a box since before christmas. However, I was curious about the perfume clay mask and lip gloss. Sooo, I ordered one this time out. Ive bought more expensive things that i was curious about and only used once. Sad but true.lol

This is not related to the target beauty box but I have a beauty question in case anyone can help me. I am trying to find a product that can get rid of some sun spots I had gotten while tanning. I have had them forever a d can’t get rid of them. I want to know if I shoukd get it done professionally or there is a product I can use. I have used some products but they don’t seem to help

Over the counter products can only do so much. You must do IPL or a laser treatment to get rid of age/tanning spots and be diligent about sunscreen. Best of luck!

Apple cider vinegar ( the kind from the grocery store), just make sure it has the ” mother.” Seriously, google it, its the best.

    • Melissa

You can try products with hydroquinine.

Go to a dermatologist, and in the meantime wear a physical sunblock. If they’ve been there a while then you need to get them looked at to make sure that they’re not something more serious, and then discuss removal/treatment options IMO.

If you are looking at going the natural route: frankincense essential oil. I had a suspicious spot and used that. No joke it is completely gone. It wasn’t fast, took about 6-9 months and then I randomly noticed it completely gone. Do your research there are a lot of great companies out there and obviously a lot of terrible ones.

Maybe try an AHA. It’s a chemical exfoliator. It helps brighten my face and even my skin tone a lot. I’ve heard great things about Puala’s Choice AHA, but right now I use a Korean one(CosRX) that works good.

Put head and shoulders on your spots before you shower. Wait 2-3 mins then shower. Works for me!

      • Krystal

Head n Shoulders is for the little rash sun spots from tanning beds.

    try Ambi

    • Lisa

I personally would stay away from Ambi. I tried it for quite sometime on one sun spot to see would it would do. It left a faded circle around the sun spot. I didn’t care for the smell either.

For great information on clearing brown spots or any skin/makeup issue try paulaschoice.com. She’s the skin care expert on Oprah, Oz, etc. HTH!

    • Ashleigh

I LOVE the paulas choice line. That is the only brand I will let anywhere near my face

in my opinion the $10 price is just to high for a box of samples. I haven’t bought one since they raised the price. Much prefer the the Walmart box for $5.00. The Walmart boxes seem to have better stuff in them too – I’ll actually use everything I received in my last $5 box 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the honest review Jane! We sure do appreciate it!

Are they doing a baby box again this month?

    • carol

I hope the do the baby box this month, i loved the samples from the last one. The 1p off 50 coupon is well worth it.

  10. Nancy

I have three teenage daughters and they love these! It’s a great way to try products. I don’t mind the $10 price, plus they usually have a Target store coupon inside for $3 off a $15 purchase of beauty products

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how much they like them Nancy! Thanks for sharing!

These boxes are costing more and more every few months. I can remember when they were free!
