   I bought this dyson 6 months ago @ full price. It’s the BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned. Previously we only owned electrolux canister vacs. A new shedding dog and the need to vacuum every day made hauling out a big canister vac awful. I am so pleased with this dyson and use it every day. I love it. 2 negatives to note: the canister is small and I empty it after each use. 2) “drive” time for me is 10 minutes or less on full power. Thats enough for me, but may not be enough for others. I am thinking about getting a second unit to keep upstairs.

  are you able to turn off the brush, just use the suction? (I don’t have carpet, and the brush typically sends everything flying)
