The price stays the same for the first delivery. It changes with next deliveries.
That’s what I thought, too. 🙁 This month is the first time it has happened to me. Maybe the policy has changed. I know the subsequent months could/will have price changes, but I had 8 new items (scheduled for delivery on June 3) with price increases.
I have had many help-chat conversations, and emails to Amazon support about this order, with no real help provided, so I’ve cancelled everything with a price increase. Every rep kept giving me the same cut-and-paste response: All Subscribe & Save orders are eligible to receive a discount over the regular price of the item. The discount you receive for each order is calculated off of the Amazon.com price for the item on the day the order is placed. Therefore, if the price of the item increases or decreases, the amount you’re charged may also increase or decrease accordingly.
Thats incorrect – Ive been doing S&S for 2 years I have at least 30 orders every month – never once had this issue…
I hope you continue to not encounter this. I have been doing S&S for about a year and this is my first time ever having prices increase before ever getting a shipment. Please check your orders–but if you are getting regular monthly shipments, you probably already do. You can ask Amazon if you don’t believe me. I have no reason to lie to you.
Do your items come to your house damaged? Every single month I have to call or live chat to get something replaced. They pack detergent with crackers, so you know which came smashed. Bottles leak. It’s nuts. This last month my order was so damaged ups sent it back to amazon, they did not send out new stuff, they refunded my money.I was never goven a choice. I was so mad. I spent 2 hours with customer service to get my items resent at the original price I paid. The price difference was $47.57. On 8 items.
My husband loves bai drinks and watermelon, but hated the bai watermelon drinks.

Ps. I really really really really really hope this was just some kind of wacky mistake with my account, but from the unwavering unhelpfulness of Amazon customer service, I think this is a new policy, and more and more people will be running into the same situation. I have about 5 unanswered emails in to Amazon. Hopefully I’ll get something more than a form letter eventually Hopefully my prediction is wrong, too, and no one else will experience these first-time delivery price jumps.

That would be horrible! We order so many things via S&S. Now I’m curious. I have a couple orders arriving this weekend. I’ll have to check my email. It was bad enough they made one artival date for all S&S orders and now potentially this. I’ve also had quite a few orders cancelled over the last 6 months. That was frustrating. And with no explanation. Just the seller or Amazon has cancelled your order. Some were supposed to be gifts. I pay extra for Prime and sometimes wonder why.
