Just a tip for anyone considering these…these go fast!! I learned my lesson a few weeks ago when I saw flights I wanted in the am and then the prices were gone for the flights I wanted by the afternoon. Got them this time!!! Four of us flying home for $200 for my brother’s wedding! (Including purchasing seats in the “family” section.)
Great score! Thanks so much for the helpful tip! Good to know!
Frontier has been great for us! The flight crew has always been amazing and gone out of their way to help when I have flown alone with our young son. We usually get tickets for around $50 a person round trip and pack light so we don’t have to pay for an extra bag.
We do the same! We have flown with United and American and have had bad experiences. Frontier has been amazing! We each pack one bag (book bag) and it has worked for us so far!
Cool! Thanks for sharing your experience Jennifer!
Do they seat your family together?
do they usually seat people together?
Yes I would like to know this as well.
From what I looked into a lot last year before flying to vegas with my husband and kids I gave in and bought seats just in case didn’t want to be separated from my kids
We’ve done the same thing with fear of being separated from a 7 year old and 3 year old! Frontier calls the last few rows the “family section” which I’m find with so we’re close to the bathrooms. For the flights we do they are a little less expensive than the front of the cabin ($12 each for window and aisle and $0 for the middle seats). So, for 4 of us I bought 2 of the $12 and reserved the $0 for the kiddos. When I fly alone with both kids I just get the window and aisle and the $0. Still a lot cheaper than other airlines. Peace of mind when there’s so much to think about when traveling with kids. AND if you or family are active duty military bags are free (I don’t think they honor it for dependents tho, just the active duty member).
Yes. If you check in early you’ll be seated together if tix were bought at the same time. I’ve only been separated once from family and that was around Christmas. And I fly a lot. Several times a year for the past 8 years.
Yes, I’ve flown twice. Once with me and my husband and once with 2 of our children and we always were seated together. I learned to keep looking at the seats as they fill up, so I’ll know when to check in. Checking in early is good.
