My cat does this too! It is the worst! He’s soooo resourceful lol he can somehow get into and open upper cabinets to get to it!!

I discovered those 40lb buckets cat litter comes in preserves dry kitty food great – upcycle! And it’s claw/fang proof from my Siamese who is sure I’m going to forget to feed him.
We use the yellow litter buckets too. Cats haven’t figured out how to open them yet! I keep the food in the bags rather than dumping it in the bucket.
