Hi Collin and Team!! Thank you very much for this amazing post!! I am grateful for you taking the team to list these wonderful deals! I am most excited about the Cottonelle Toilet Tissue deal. My question is: Is this Deal a good stock up price? If so, what is the best way to do do the transaction to buy 10 packages in the store? I would really like to help my family and save money but buying it now to put in our stockpile to use this summer! Thank you in advance for your time and help!
HI Ashley, Walgreens store coupons only need to be scanned once, and they will apply to all the qualifying items in your transaction. So if you bought 5 packs of cottonelle you would scan the store coupon once, and $5 ($1 off per pack) would be deducted. Manufacture coupons do typically have limits. So you would need to read the fine print to see if you could use ten cottonelle manufacture coupons at once.
If there are coupon limits you can just spread your transactions out over the week; visit more than one store, or have a friend help you shop. hth. 🙂
Hi Beth!! Thank you very much for helping me, I truly appreciate it! I am going to follow your advice!! Thank you so much for your time and all of your help!!! I hope that you have the best day!!!
You’re so welcome!! 🙂
If I purchase more than one theater box in a single transaction- will I get back more than $1RR?
no, you have to purchase separately. and you can’t roll the rr from the first transaction on the next transaction of candy b/c it won’t print.
So as long as you purchases separately you can do it more than one and don’t use it to pay for another one?
Correct. All RR items must be purchased in separate transactions in order for the RR to print. You would also not want to use the RR coupon to purchase the same item as a new coupon will not print.
I also have $1 Ibotta rebate for Kleenex a bundle packs!
Does Walgreens calculate tax before MQs ? I was taxed at $4.99 for an item even though a $3 MQ was applied to it.
Manufacturers’ coupons are calculated on the pre-coupon price.
Tax is calculated before MQ and tax will be calculated after store coupons.
Thank you Nolagirl and Lucy. Is this how it is done at every store or just Walgreens? I never noticed it before.
Virtually every store. However, most calculate the tax on an item after store coupons. If you read the fine print on MQs you’ll see that it includes language that requires the bearer to assume the use tax liability.
from what the tax dept. told me. taxes are collected on full purchase price. even when I get an item down to lets say .75 cents but the item originally before coupons was let say $4.00. I would pay sales tax on the full $4.00 before any coupons.
the government is not stupid. greedy yes, LOL
This is because coupons are considered a form of payment. You are purchasing an item for $4.99, so you must pay tax on $4.99 it does not matter that you are “paying” with coupons. Using a store coupon directly lowers the items cost. So if you purchased a $4.99 item and used a $1/1 store coupon the cost would then be lowered to $3.99. So you would only pay tax on $3.99. HTH. 🙂
Thank you so much ladies. I just never noticed it before. Thanks again for clarifying. 🙂
I don’t have the crest or cottonelle coupon to clip on my Walgreens card. 🙁
me too. 🙁
I wonder why some people have it and some don’t.
Hello since this sale starts on 7/30 it is also the start of the August savings booklet. So the coupons are not available to clip to your card until 7/30. hth.
when crest coupon says “limit 1 coupon per purchase” what exactly does that mean? 1 per transaction or 1 per item? TIA
Hi there! That means one coupon per item being purchased. Hope this helps!
Thanks!
You’re welcome!
Thanks ! Been looking for white board markers. Anyone have reviews for this brand? Wexford.
Anyone know how many Ticonderoga pencils are in the pack for 99 cents? I feel like I got a great deal on them at Wags last year.
10 sharpened. Same deal like last year
Thanks! Been waiting on a good deal for dry erase markers! As a teacher, I ALWAYS need more, and my daughter has them on her supply list this year as well. Time to stock up on those and some other great deals! 🙂
You’re welcome Amanda!
Are you thinking of buying the 69c ones? If so, are they good? I always buy the expo, but that’s a really good price.
Thank you, I need pencils and since #2 are required for testing its always good to have them handy ( even if the kids want those “fancy” mechanical pencils) this is a good price too!
You’re very welcome!
***Wexford Dry Erase Markers***
For anyone wondering…I’m a teacher and these have worked just as well as Expo. I’ll be getting some. 😉
Awesome! Thanks for the feed back.
Just left Wags… Tried to get the Crest deal, used my 2 Manf. Qs and had the 1 digital clipped to my card. Rang up and NO RR printed out. Asked the lady & she asked manager. Manager told me I did not get RR because I was using coupons for the deal. Is this true, no RR because I used coupons?
